Motel 6 Pomona, CA - Los Angeles reviews
16 Neat beds but my experience was not good the room was not clean floors are dirty and doors with stains
You get what you pay for
Made a reservation and when I arrived the front guy was in the middle of something with another guy quick hand exchange and he was not friendly or pleasant at all, he constantly gave me the side eye as if I wasn't excepted there, (racism & being judgemental) he asked for ID from everyone in my car my 67 year old mother and my 40 year old girlfriend he ran my card $90 charged for the night then checked our ID's and said that my girlfriend couldn't stay there due to an 8-9 year old notice because she smoked n a bathroom of one of their other properties and had a fine granted she wasn't renting the room I was. He then said my refund will be refunded within 7-14 business days. I will never stay at this or any other Motel 6 you only get 1 bad experience with me, and granted I had just drove 5 hours in from Vegas to visit my girlfriend 90 year old grandmother who's currently in the hospital. It's a good thing there were other options in the area. We ended up going to the Chino Motel which was a way better experience friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. The Chino will be my go to when in this area.
There nothing wrong with this hotel only it's dirty and cleaning is really poor. Bad smell in the room, floors are stained, door and wall too. I didn't wanted to stay once I saw the room, but 90 dollars after arriving at 8pm had no choice. Please think about people, clean your rooms! Beds are unconfortable too.
Furniture and floors were dirty and we had to clean them. Bathtub was not clean.
Room only had one chair and there was 2 of us. We had to request an extra set of towels because there was only one set.
The front desk personnel were very accommodating.
Worst motel if you stay for more then a few days they have no microwave or place to cook making it super expensive to stay weekly definitely not worth the price
Honestly too many people judged this place poorly for no reason. It is a motel 6, get off your high horse and go to a Ayres if you want luxury. The people and workers were nice and minded their own business. Parking was nice and there was a gas station and in n out across the street which is convenient. For all the motel 6's I've had to stay in, this one is for sure the best or close to it. There are roaches but I just sprayed my room and never seen them again. It was one maybe two that I saw and never saw them again after spraying. I understand roaches are disgusting but understand this. They are everywhere. Paid 4k for a two bedroom apartment and they ended up being infested with roaches and rats and they had to clean people's apartments. So given that this whole state itself is disgusting beyond belief. This motel 6 is the best budget hotel you can get if you care about safety and don't want a lot of issues. Pomona police will try and pull you over in the parking lot, but learn your laws, it's illegal. Other than that. It was a good stay.
You can't get drunk and they won't let you sleep and the noise from the cars is unbearable.
A budget motel that does the job very well for one or two nights. The site is clean and has good parking. If I didn't like something, it was the customer service. I ordered and paid in advance for a room for two, and they wouldn't let the other person in despite telling them, providing identification, and even a credit card. Very little empathy and relationship with the client.
Thank you Ace at front desk, very kind and professional, room was very neat and clean had a great stay
DO NOT STAY THERE IF YOU CAN AVOID IT. LOTS OF UNSAVORY ELEMEMNTS STILL RESIDE OR HANG OUT THERE. CAUGHT DUDE CASING CARS IN LOT. ANOTHER CAR CRUISING THRU AS I WAS GOING TO MY ROOM AND TRIED SELL ME DOPE. NOT AT ALL WORTH THE MONEY OR THE RISK OF POSSIBLY GETTING ROBBED OR ASSAULTED. ONE THE WORST MOTEL 6 I EVER STAYED IN.
My stay was very good and very professional. No problems at all very good at customer service. Roy made sure I was well taken care of and very comfortable.
My stay at motel 6 was very professional and peaceful as well. I was pleased with the service.
The room was nice but there was a certain smell outside close to it. Regarding the service, the recepcionist gave us a very hard time just because my wife's Id was expired, that I was considering cancelling and moving somewhere else. Location was convinient for it was close to my convention place.
I could stand the smell, nothing is perfect, but the issue with the ID really smelled even worse.
I give this location three stars only because it didn't have some of the amenities I need. However, the staff was friendly, the room was very clean, and I didn't have to deal with any loud neighbors or check-in/check-out hassles.
The housekeeping staff is very efficient, as they were working hard all through the terrible rainstorm and kept the property clean as a whistle. My room was very quiet and clean, with fresh linens and towels. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and there wasn't a bug in sight!
If you're considering staying here, you need to know that none of the rooms come with a refrigerator, microwave, or coffeemaker. It is a very "bare bones" location, no frills. That is a big problem for me, but I am not going to leave a negative review because of it. Because of the nasty storm, going out to eat wasn't an option, and since there was no microwave or fridge, I simply went to Walmart nearby and bought a cheap cooler and hotplate. I kept my water cold and heated up my soup just fine.
I'm pretty easy to please; I just need a clean room with no bugs. If I don't have to listen to any loud neighbors, then it's an extra bonus.
All i could hear was a heavy set mexican security constantly screaming on his phone in the middle of the night to some guy named Marcus and then proceeds to sit in his car drinking what appears to be alcohol. Frankie if you read this, tell Marcus to "leave the door open"
Motel 6 it's the Best of the Best, very safety, I recommend The Motel 6, my experience with Motel 6 was very good
