Motel 6 Santa Clara, CA

The most nasty place I ever been! I found use condoms in my room, there is hair on the towel, mold on the walls, the room look very old and smell old! The front desk people are kids and don’t care for anything there! Not recommended it for no one this place should be free home for homeless! Pay $20 more and get much better service

The front desk guy wasn’t coming out i got here at 5 trying to check into a room and he never came out even while yelling excuse me hello nothing i called the store he came out sweaty and crosseyed like he was high or drunk super unprofessional then while asking questions about the room he proceeded to say i could check in now than he hen i was making the reservation on my phone said at 12pm u can check in not now really risky and i was just so confused because he was slurring and was.so out of it very unprofessional

First of all the staff is rude the house keeping is worse I stayed a week they refused to clean room I called a day before to notify the office they were so hateful the manger Steve and a Indian women are rude and the rooms at roaches in them do not here.

Its like any other motel but Pramod- the person that helped me with my room was very calm and listened to my moms concern with a lot of patience

In terms of location It is not the greatest as it is 2 mins off Lawrence expressway, it is 10 mins to any freeway. The rooms are very basic, the fellow patrons mainly blue collar traveling workers whom keep to them selves, and the rest seem to be of the rougher sort, those whom seem to deal in some form of illicit vice from the looks of it. Though, I'm not making any judgments, as it's really none of my business, rather it's a feeling I get. The long and short of it is, I wouldn't call it a family place, the kind that I'd want to bring children, but if your an adult looking for a step up from putting your car in park leaning your seat back at the last min, this place is just that.

I just wanted to take some time to elaborate on how polite and professional Sean and Maribelle are I really hope I spelled her name right cuz she is amazing made me and my family feel right at home these two should be part of management because they defenity handle business in a outstanding friendly and real type of way I had a bad exsperiencevat the franchise motel 6 ran by this evil Indian lady who should never been allowed in this country yelling at my four year old twin girl to get out because they were seconds over check out disrespected my wife myself and worste and unbielvable the children they were in tears frighten for there life that is the Almeida location San Jose but night and day with the staff at this location real people and very understanding and considerate

Well, I begin with. They were a little distant. Not very friendly at all. I was late checking on the next day so I wasn't on their good side. The room was clean. Alot cleaner than other Motel 6's. The floor was very clean. Except half of it was coming up. It wasn't glued down. Kinda bubbled up. I kept losing my balance. I was there a few days. I've been to lots of motels in the past few years. Anyway, our last night someone tried to get in 3 times. Crazy. Anyway, they were angry at my being late so they put me on their DNR (do not rent) list. Fine. It wasn't that big of a deal. I was a little late but it wasn't like I didn't pay. They're wasn't that many people there.

Ew dirty smells like cigarettes not ever gonna stay there again and for the price you serious. No fridge or microwave or coffee oh that was extra nah I'm good

Some of the cheapest rates in this side of the Bay Area, so don't expect much. There was constant police activity in the parking lot (including a little standoff at 1AM) during my stay, and there was always a disturbance of some sort in the middle of the night. Wifi is laughably slow (can't even handle smooth 720p) for 2023 but that's a problem consistent with all Motel6's. Honestly, when the rates are this cheap you can't complain too much. Just keep your head on a swivel once the sun goes down and try not to draw attention to yourself.

Staff was great and very accommodating, also very good about replacing linens and housekeeping. The dryer ruined my clothes though, was over-priced for laundry considering the Washer barely works, very small loads, and machines are constantly out of order, and there's only two washers and two dryers for the entire Motel. The worst part was everyday There were police there for one thing or another, and overall not very safe when outside of your room. The location is good though, with lots of shops, dining, shopping, etc.nearby. Easy to drive in and out of, ample parking, nice big bathtubs with hot water and they have a pool, however, it is outside and not heated or cleaned very often, so only useful during warm weather. They do have coffee every morning in the office, but no breakfast, and the vending machine was either out of order, or took my money. Not a good place for children or to stay unless you had no other option in my opinion. The manager is good considering what he has to put up with.

This is the most affordable stay in Silicon Valley if you’re traveling on a budget. The lady who helped me at check-in was nice, but that was pretty much the only good thing about this hotel. My room wasn’t clean at all. Floors were sticky, found hair in the bathtub, the light switches were just filthy. There were sketchy people hanging around the property during the night. No cell reception inside the building, and the Wi-Fi kept disconnecting my devices.

Normally Ive never had any real problems with Motel 6 in any location I've been to. Tom Bodet would be ashamed of this one if not so embarrassed, he would turn the lights off on this location and shut it down. They are rude, they do not take care of their rooms and they act like you're there to help them. Let me explain I didn't realize if I booked a room for a week by the 3rd day that I've been in that room I actually had to ask for maid servce, you know, clean towels make the bed, take out the trash, et cetera, Et cetera. I didn't realize that parking in front of my own room was reserved for the restaurant next door I didn't realize that when I made a reservasion and paid for it at the time of making said reservation, that I had to pay for it all over again when I arrived.
What I have realized is that there are just as many nice hotels on the El Camino Real (Santa Clara California) thatl for the same price, take care of their customers and take pride in their establishment so that is what I'll be doing, sorry Tom

Housekeeping attentive nice accomodating, they were so nice. Also Mellissa front desk. Professional, helpful, nice peraonality.

Hotel was exactly what I needed it for. A place to lay my head and relax. I read some of these reviews and although SOME have points, the others just complain LoL. If you want something fancy to GET YOU SOMETHING FANCY, real talk. The hotel staff is VERY friendly, and the housekeepers will be on it if you CALL THEM.they aren't mind readers people. You need to speak up if you want something done or done again if that's the issue. Motel 6 I'm HAPPY WITH MY STAY. THANK YOU

This is the absolute worst place to stay I was harassed spied on and singled out they were watching my coming and going as if I were a fugitive I will be retaining an attorney.

I just sent 2 of my workers from Fresno to stay 2 nights in San Jose. My office staff from San Jose booked the room. I received a call from my employees informing me that there were BED BUGS all over the room. They sent me videos and pictures of the bugs on the bed, walls and floors. We informed them to check out and go launder their clothes. We called the next day to speak with the staff and they could care less. DO NOT STAY HERE! HOMELESS HAVE IT BETTER! ONLY 1 STAR BECAUSE 0 WAS NOT AN OPTION
