DO NOT use North American Van Lines if you're moving to another state. They hire freelance teams of what I can best describe as poorly-trained and/or incompetent gorillas, who will likely cause extensive damage to your property due to inadequate packing and careless handling.

If you are looking for movers I suggest trying a different company. I just had them do a local move and I would never use them again.

Local move within Sacramento, job well done! The reviewer came out and did a thorough job of inventorying all our furniture and expected number of boxes, and explained the options for insurance coverage. The day of the move the movers were on-time, professional, courteous, and most importantly quick. Tip: label the sides of moving boxes, not the top. Would use again!

Mother Lode we’re professional and we’re quick to unpack our house hold goods. Once they showed up and we discussed what needed to be done and the customs we have in our home they hit the ground running. Always kept us informed and asked where items should go in the house. Also they will come back after we are done unpacking to pick up the empty boxes.

They did a great job packing and moving to our new house. No issues whatsoever. Would recommend without hesitation.

The labor to move us out of our large house was completely inadequate. They insisted on moving us before we were ready. They took 2 1/2 weeks for the truck to be delivered with our belongings. Many valuables were missing. Then you get directed to North American customer service and they don’t care at all about your issues. I would never recommend using this company.

The team showed up on time, worked hard, and got it done fast and efficient. Nothing was damaged and I couldn’t be happier.
