Motherlode Laundromat, Jackson CA

So expensive here! I came here with $30 and what should have been 5 regular loads of laundry.

The small washers are mini size (think small apartment stacking size). The small washers are $3.75/load and the slightly bigger ones are $8.75/load? I had to leave and get $20 more dollars to finish my laundry (no ATM on-site). Also, no bathrooms on site.

Premises are clean, but the prices are outrageous and the washers are much smaller than regular size washers. Will not be back.

Came here to do a load of laundry during my travel. The place was staffed which made me feel safe. The owner/employee was wiping down the machines with disinfectant and keeping the the laundromat tidy. It does get busy, but I was in and out in just over an hour. Change machine worked with no issues. Overall a nice small town feel.

I've been using the Mother Lode laundromat for about two years now, and it's the best laundromat in this area.
Clean, well managed, lots of machines for washing and drying; and the larger washing machines and dryers make it very cost-effective when one has larger loads.
They also have a drop-off service (although I've never used it) that is very convenient when one is short on time.
I travel an extra 6-7 miles to use it, because the one that's closer to home sucks in comparison.
If you're looking for an easy, clean, well-managed laundromat, you don't need to look any further!

We travel full time around the country and been to a lot of different laundromats, by far one of the best laundromats I used.
Machines are nice and clean the laundromat it self is clean.
I gave it a 4 star because I feel like the washer machine prices are a little high. And 1 broken washer which is actually pretty good compared to other laundromats.
I would recommend this laundromat to friends.

I’ve always been a fan of this laundromat.until today. I’ve been coming here for 2 yrs now. I leave my laundry in the washer and set a timer on my phone ALWAYS to come back for it. Today I pull into the parking lot as my timer is going off which means the washer just went off. There’s the woman that works there and a customer helping themselves to MY LAUNDRY! Taking it out of the washer because she “needed that exact washer, at that exact moment”. This is so rude and impatient on both their parts. I didn’t leave my clothes sitting in there for any extended amount of time. The washer had gone off maybe 35 seconds before I could park my car and walk in. Then both women proceeded to laugh because I was obviously upset and they couldn’t understand why. I would NEVER touch someone else’s clothes like that. In fact I have waited 10+ minutes for someone to come get their clothes out before. Im not the leave my clothes in there and show up when I want person. Im very disappointed in the woman who works here for doing what she did. Practice a little bit of patience and have more RESPECT for your paying customers!

This is a quality laundromat! Well maintained machines that are reasonably priced. If you are in need of drop off services or charitable assistance The owner personally sees that all your laundry needs are met! My biggest thanks and appreciation for assistance in my own time of need xoxo

Great place. The owner is a sweet lady. Place is clean and everything works great. I recommend it to everybody.
