Be warned that it is extremely difficult to cancel your subscription. Also, We ordered an additional ELD Gateway device, but realized we didn't need it for the new vehicle we had purchased. We called before the device was even delivered asking to return it and they said that it couldn't be.

I am flabbergasted that something like this can be so bad. Motive Asset Gateway Support is guaranteed to give you high blood pressure or heart attack No matter how simple the ask, it’s never quick. Either the staff is untrained or their systems internally are so broken, they working with their hands tied behind their backs. It’s probably both.
Writing a review today as I was on a call with them for almost whole day until they cut me off.
On August 30th, we emailed to Motive support that 2 Asset gateways are not working from July 2022. We weren’t using those trailers so didn’t notice earlier.
On Sep 1, received a call from motive support & the representative suggested multiple trouble shooting steps, informed the rep that we had tried all but all in vain.
Then rep suggested that gateways should be replaced. Agreed to it. Got the confirmation via email with order number. Then started to follow up regularly and kept on getting the reply that order is in process. Last Friday Sep 8,2023, the Rep confirmed that order had been processed & dispatched. We requested for air shipment as its quick & it was confirmed by the Rep.
On Sep 11, called again to get tracking number. The person said it will be given in 10/15 mins via call back. The order has been shipped. As always we never got a call back. We called at 7pm & the person denied from everything that we don’t have any email or notes in system regarding this whole issue. Those devices were replaced in March 2022. We insisted that we need replacement, we are willing to pay for hardware but the answer was there is nothing like replacement in Motive
Then we ask to call the supervisor, we were put on hold, after 40 mins we were told no supervisor is there. And after that we have been trying to call from time to time but Motive Asset Gateway Support team is just putting us on hold.
I have all the emails & screen shots of calls to share

Motive equipment is causing errors on our new trucks. 2024 Freightliners are unusable with Motive, and technical support in reality does not exist. We will need to switch to another ELD provider. Not a single nice word for this company.

Truckers, avoid at all cost. THEY WILL NOT CLOSE YOUR CONTRACT, automatically renew your subscription and send your payment to collections even if you request closing and have no trucks. SCAM

DO NOT DO IT. This is the worst company to work with. They are all about entrapment. They're support team does not care about anyone but keeping you locked in a contract. DO NOT EVER GET ON WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY DO NOT CARE FOR THE TRUCKING NEEDS OF ANYONE. Do not agree to anything with their support TEAM. This should be ILLEGAL. All they care about is ENTRAPMENT!

Bad customer service, Paki's rambling on the phone and not very helpful and don't want to replace broken equipment, cheap Pakistani have terrible service

Trash company. They will send devices that do not work. Expect you to continue to pay them money, even when you cannot use the service. The customer service team do not care. This company is set on scamming customers and that is all.

Wish I could give them 0 star. They try their best to sell their products and services, they call every day 8 am, 10 pm 3pm whenever they want no matter if it’s business hours or not, they call you hundred times which finally make you to buy. After they’re done they don’t care anymore. They sold me 4 devices which I only ended up using one of them. They billed me for all of the devices.
I’m going out of business and trying to close my account, no one seems responsible and willing to help. It’s been four weeks that I’ve been waiting and nothing has happened. Worst customer service. Use Samsara instead at least they don’t steal your money.

I know you guys might so excited getting in trucking business and don't care about reviews and sum advice, but only one thing (STAY AWAY FROM MOTIVE) for millions reasons, or sum years to come, you will in my situation and all former motive customers.
Worst company to sign contract with.

Didn't work from December 2022 until Jun 2023. Call to reactivate account and get answer: You has to pay $540 for 2023 and from Jun 2023 has to pay another $540 for 2023 reactivated account. Do you asking me to pay 2 subscription for 2023 they answer yes Technically but we count that 1 payment but you has to pay 2 times. So Technically worst customer service I ever contacted.

Stay away from this company or you will be calling them daily just to get your money back which you wont.once they get your payment info they charge whenever they want without your approval.the only option you will have is to cancel your cards and dispute or to take legal action. I have paid my services and I don't have service or my money back.it is really headache, they are unprofessional.every time you call them it is a new story and sometimes they will put you on hold or hung up the phone.

I've already set aside the legal team finances so that when this inaccurate system and its malicious allegations of "illegal" activities and its misinterpreted algorithm of the law results in my termination, I will file the appropriate lawsuits. This system is garbage, it does nothing to protect the operator.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Sorry excuse for a business especially one who is supposed to be there for truckers. They have a million excuses to not help and will do nothing for their long standing customers with an issue. The worst place to spend your money!
