My car sat there for 8 days! Just waiting to be diagnosed! Meanwhile, I had to rent a car that cost me over $500! Then the repairs were $900. I am disabled and on fixed budget and it will literally take me over a year to pay for all of it.
The only reason I gave you even 1 star was because of Ruben. He kept in touch with me to let me know where things stood with the repairs.

Took my truck in for something that should have a recall on it due to an extreme safety hazard. Got quoted $786 for a negative battety cable R&R and a new battery. The R&R job paid 2.41 hrs for a master mechanic i did the job in 20 minutes. Absolutely crazy! Never again will I buy a gmc or take my truck there for service. I am adding to this review because it doesn’t seem to want to let me do a new one. I called the dealership today because I have a major safety issue with my GMC for the second time. I am 25 miles to the end of my warranty and the service department said they can’t get me in until the 9th so I asked if I go over the 100,000 if it will still be covered. I was told no. Gm claims to put customer satisfaction at its top tier. I don’t see it. This problem has nearly caused several accidents. I would stay clear of the 2014 and newer GM products. Nothing but problems since I’ve owned the truck. Everybody else I have talked to have the same problems. GM live by you words and recall these trucks if you really care about your customers and their safety.

I have been doing business with Motor City for 25+ yrs.and have never had a bad experience, Pedro, Jason & Lynn in Fleet Service always go above and beyond, they truly care about their customers and I will continue to have my vehicle serviced there.

Typical car dealer. Inquired on a used Bolt on Thurs. Planned to pick it up Saturday but got delayed. Salesman knew I was driving from Palm Springs about 3 hours away. I contacted the Finance Department on Friday to help move the paperwork along. No return call. Got the cashiers check on Friday and insurance for the car. Had to get a ride to Bakersfield, they backed out Sat. Had to go Sunday instead. Contact the salesman. Ok. See you in 3 hours. Get to an hour away and text him an update on my location. No answer. He calls me 30 min later and says the car was sold Friday. No call from sales. No call from Finance. Just left me hanging and let me come anyway. Real professional. Like I said. Typical car dealer. Save your time and stay away.

This is one of the largest dealerships in the nation. But the moment you pull onto the lot, I was treated like I was there only person they had to work with. They were more concerned about my needs and wants than just selling a car. (Never any pressure)

Juan was very helpful in finding me a vehicle in my price range with my specific requests (very picky request). He helped us get to the payments we wanted and always answered any questions we had before and after the purchase. He is your "Juan and only car guy". Whole experience was easy and great.

The entire experience was less than positive from the beginning to end. In short, I was without a vehicle for 13 days, and when I picked it up the truck was filthy and only had 12 miles to E.

When I began the service process, I tried calling to schedule an appointment, but was told to schedule online. I went online and the first available appointment was 10 days away. I scheduled the appointment and received a text confirming my appointment.

A day before my appointment I called to confirm the appointment and drop-off time, but the person couldn't find my appointment, and proceeded to tell me there was nothing they could do because it was a "different system. " I had to insist that my appointment be honored, so they put me on hold and then received another text confirming my appointment. When they returned, I stated I just received a text, and they replied again that it was a different system.

When I dropped off my truck it wasn't looked at until 3 working days later, but 5 days due to the weekend. When I called to get a status, I was told that there were other vehicles before mine, which puzzled me since I had an appointment. I was led to believe that the intake is first come - first serve, which confused me further since I was told I had to make an appointment.

Once my truck was looked at, I was called and told that the repairs should be covered under the warranty, but they weren't sure, and we had to wait for authorization before ordering the part. A few days later, I receive a call that the repair was authorized, so they would order the part, but had no idea when it would be received, or my truck would be ready.

I received a call when the part was received and told that it wouldn't be ready until "maybe Friday, but probably Mondy. " This made me furious at this point, because I was without a vehicle for over a week at this point and would be going at least another 4-5 days without a vehicle.

I received a text saying my truck was ready and was asked if I wanted it washed before I would pick it up. I replied yes please and made arrangements to go to the dealership that evening.

When I got to the dealership, and I was waiting for my truck to be brought out for about 20 minutes. I didn't think much of it because I assumed they were washing it, but when it arrived it was filthy. I asked the person why it wasn't washed, and they just mumbled something and walked away.

Finely, when I started the truck the low fuel alarm chimed which surprised me, and when I looked at the estimated mileage to E it was 12 miles. I'm certain that I turned the truck in with low fuel, but the alert wasn't on, and it comes on well before 12 miles.

Check engine light came on the day after I bought the truck they said bring it back they would fix it they, checked it said it was fine, then the light came back on. I had to make another appointment and wait took it back in and they said I had a bad battery and they couldn't look at it until I replaced they battery, so I did and text the old one at autozone and there wasn't anything wrong with the battery, I took the truck back and asked who was going to pay for the battery they said tuff luck and sent me on my way worst service I've ever had.

I noticed They have a few new staff members and they are amazing, the ones before looked bother and stressed, even though I love Motor city, I felt like I was a burden to them, but now you get the five stars easily!
Edit: I just got an oil change last week and the whole employee mood is different, almost everyone except the nice cashier at the end were in a bad mood, and had an attitude, maybe they were having a bad day who knows.

I brought my 2013 sierra in for repairs and David was more than helpful.always assuring me they would fix the problems and have it back to me repaired and safe for me and my family. I have been using Motor City for years and am really disappointed. I had an appointment for an oil change and it has never taken 2 hours. They in the past have always done a courtesy wash for me and after 2 hours I didn’t even get that. I won’t be returning for this service any longer.

I recently purchased a 2020 Dodge Durango at Motor City Buick GMC. I found the vehicle on line and reached out for more information. Juan Navarrette was my Product Portfolio Specialist and handled all the details of my review of the vehicle with above expected service! He was AMAZING! He sent a video of the vehicle rather than just pictures, which gave an incredible view of the Durango! He worked with me via text to discuss costs, explain options, and answer all my questions. I was so confident in him and the dealership that I drove from the San Fernando Valley to Bakersfield for this vehicle (over 1 hour)! I was at the dealership for no more than 2 hours including test drive and meeting with finance. Tim Miller was my Finance Manager and he was knowledgeable and kind! Hard to find when you get to the finance aspect of buying a vehicle at a dealership! This was a no pressure experience. Kudos to the dealership and how they handle customers. I drove away with my dream Durango. This is my 3rd Durango and I could not be happier with the entire purchasing experience. I HIGHLY recommend Motor City Buick GMC for new and used vehicle purchases, and Juan Navarrette and Tim Miller. It was well worth the drive. Exceptional!

I purchased 2 Ford Trucks from Motor City in the past 3 years. When I bought my 1st truck Ford F150 4x4 I was
Uneasy about car salesmen until I met Augustine. He went above and beyond for me and got me into my dream truck. He had all the bells and whistles (lift kit, oversized tires and wheels, running boards, color matched bumper and grill, Rhino liner etc.) installed for me. He even came to my home to sign the papers! 3 years later (last week) my son and I went to Motor City looking for a Ford F250 4x4 dually diesel. I was surprised when Augustine remembered who I was. Once again Augustine bent over backwards and helped my son get into the truck he wanted. I can’t say enough about the service we have received from Motor City and their employees. They made purchasing vehicles easy and NO PRESSURE! I will be referring any and everyone who is shopping for a vehicle to Augustine and Motor City! I won’t purchase a vehicle anywhere else! You guys are the best!
