7Very slow, it wouldnt be so bad if you could get wifi or cell service.i dont understand in todays technology why there isnt an app for your cell phone to monitor your place on the list.even let you when your close to being called.we gave up bear skins and stone knives a few years ago! Update, I think they have gotten better at notifying you. I'm not sure, I use triple A for registration now

Idk why there are so many negative reviews. I saw people upset at the DMV because they were turned away for not making an appointment, but the website specifically says you need one. It’s not the fault of the employees that people don’t do their research before going or don’t want to wait in line. Idk what DMV doesn’t have a line. The employees were super friendly and I was in and out quickly. I’ll definitely continue to use this DMV over the Folsom one.
For some odd unknown explanation I’ve had luck on my side every single time: I’ve never waited over 40min, was helped by reception folks. Worse thing I can think of? My picture on pics liscense is HORRID and not only mine but everybody’s I’ve looked at. Can’t be coincidence cuz there are too many. And naturally Parking. They’ve been in business many years with the same lot. Bad for getting brand new permit, bad for everybody. Buy out lot next to em or move, The county won’t be getting any smaller.
Taking the driving test, the person, a lady by the name Annalise? I don't remember, terrible. Marked off all the things during a single lane saying and claiming that not looking back on a single lane when clearly looking around before turning. Terrible experience. Ok office area but terrible service.
I've always had great luck at thos DMV. It is a bummer that the wifi is an issue, but with the fairly quick service I didn't get through a magazine before I was up.
This is so badly managed that you can’t even get an appointment there from the DMV website. It’s easy to see why the DMV is often used as the ultimate example of bad, inept, inefficient government services. Goodness help you if you show up and have to stand in line for hours.
