This store is packed with all kinds of things and the service was excellent. Got what I needed and got on the road. Love Ace Hardware!

This is one of the most interesting stores in the Truckee area! I enjoy browsing through all of the wonderful items available here. I believe Mountain Hardware in Truckee has an inviting melange of goods that will entice even the most jaded of shoppers. They literally carry everything from soup to nuts as well as every possible mechanical or building need! While I'm not entirely sure about the food products, unless they are freeze-dried, which would make sense as a sales item considering the shopping area this store covers! Anyway.back on task. I wish to extend kudos for such a well-stocked store and its delightful, knowledgeable staff. Enjoy the ambience and shopping experience that awaits, even if you only need nails or a drill bit, for you will have a great time in this wonderful store! Happy Shopping!

If I were ever to get married, it would be in the housewares section of Ace Hardware in Truckee! I am so in love with this store, not only because they carry absolutely everything above and beyond a hardware store should carry but the people are the nicest friendliest and most helpful people you can find! This store actually brings me joy. Is it odd for a woman to love nuts and screws? (Don't go there) Visit, if you have not yet. And wait until the holiday season when they take it to the top with holiday trees and fun decorations! Thank-you, ACE, for being the PLACE here in Truckee!

Ace Mountain simply rocks. The staff are shockingly helpful: proactive, diligent, knowledgeable, and creative they seem excellent representatives of a very positive company culture.

A great store, with every sort of hardware and gear, including the sought after Scandinavian forest axe I had been looking for. But the true star of this hardware store is the employees. Friendly, easy to talk to, and fun. I'll admit to loitering just so I could talk with them a little longer.

Fantastic assortment and variety in all departments, better hardware selection than Home Depot. In 20 years, they have had every strange and rare part I've needed, except one.and they are great about ordering if they don't have it! Great paint department too.

In addition, they carry all kinds of unique items for they whole house, from kitchen to bath to decorating to games and clothing and sports gear. Their fishing department is well stocked with all the local favorites (flies, lures, etc.).

For a little mountain town hardware store, their prices are comparable to the big city and big box stores for most things. This is my home away from home.

Seriously, this store has everything. Hardware, clothing, sporting goods, and home decor. Love it.

This store has everything you could need for your house in the mountains. Boats, guns, clothes, hammers etc. If you want to build something or need to do some home fixing, ace will have what you need for sure. Everyone here is very kind and friendly and some of the best staff I've every encountered. Never go to another hardware store again.

I was on a first date, After grabbing something at a local coffee shop we ended up at this hardware store it was her favorite.

The guys in lumber were really helpful. I was in a bad spot and needed 6 cuts to boards and they did a great job!
