Mountain House Estate, Cloverdale CA

We were married 9/23/23 at Mountain House Estate (MHE) and had a wonderful experience from end to end.
Lane and John, who own the venue, have put so much love and attention into making MHE a dream wedding venue. They are very easy to work with, professional, friendly, and extremely responsive.
Oak Tree Terrace was what sold us on MHE; my only wedding must-have was getting married under a beautiful tree, and I couldn't have asked for a more picturesque spot for our ceremony.
There are so many different areas to this venue, and you can utilize them in any number of ways. It felt like multiple locations all in one, which we loved both for the experience it provided our guests, and the opportunity to have several different "backdrops" for our photos.
This venue is also a BYOEverthing, so you can make the choices on food, decor, drinks, etc.that are right for your style and budget. The owners provided a list of preferred vendors which was very helpful to select the team to bring our wedding to life.
If you're wondering what the weather is like there in late September, we ended up having a perfect day: 73 and sunny, with cooler temps at night (I was really worried it would be too hot, but it was ideal).
If you are considering having your big day at MHE, I definitely recommend it. Happy wedding planning!

Mountain House Estates is a beautiful wedding venue. This venue is spectacular, has lots of different areas, for pictures, different parts of the wedding! So if your thinking about having your wedding here, do it!

My partner and I went to a wedding here and it was dangerously hot. The venue did not seem prepared or capable of handling high temps. Not only did the power go out, they ran out of water (? !) The GPS instructions also led 1/3 of the guests to get lost/be late and the cell reception was very poor, which made directions more unreliable. The ceremony space was not ADA accessible. There is a nice pond but once the sun went down there were SO MANY mosquitos. They got married which was nice- but the venue should be avoided at all costs. Read your contracts.

I went to a wedding here.we had fun but there were problems. A lot of people were late because the map directions were confusing, and once you get close there's no cell service. Once on property, the ceremony was up a big hill from parking and the reception space, so people had to shuttle back and forth on busses. It was crazy hot (112°, I think?) and that's not their fault but they'd run out of waters by the time the ceremony started. Then the air conditioning broke right as we got to the reception. Dinner was at sundown, and that was pretty, but it was right next to a pond so there were lots of mosquitos. But it was a wedding, so that was fun!

Amazing help when I came to a wedding here and noticed that I was out of gas! Also, the best wedding I have ever Attended! Beautiful setting—wow!

Lane and John are the best! Garrett and I had our wedding at Mountain House Estate and loved every nook and cranny! They keep their property immaculate and beautiful. They have a very easy platform to communicate on and are great at communication! We highly recommend this property! J&G.

Pretty place. Lovley pond. WAY TO HOT for an outdoor summer wedding. 107! AC goes down 15 minutes into the cocktail hour! No fans, no misters- no umbrellas for shade at the open air ceremony site. Better for a late September wedding. Bring a fan!

Mountain House Estate is by far one of my favorite Wedding Venues to work at as a Wedding Photographer! The property's landscape offers so many beautiful photo opportunities; from rolling hills, gorgeous vistas, oak trees, to colorful gardens! And best of all - they allow creative freedom, so you can design your own wedding day vision! Total flexibility and they truly care for each of their clients! Love this place!

This venue is perfect! It was a dream to be able to have our wedding here. We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect place to show our families the beauty of where we live.

We booked a small 20-25 person wedding. Lane and John who runs Mountain House Estates were amazing! Very helpful on the day of. Got our music going and guided us on decorations and helped out guests with our drinks and charcuterie. Definitely recommend giving Lane and John a call and see the place for yourself. Won't be disappointed

Lane made our whole experience better than we could have imagined. She was responsive to any and all questions we had and the property is absolutely gorgeous!

We just had our wedding at Mountain House Estate and it was beyond perfect! The owners Lane and John are the kindest people and were very accommodating for the things that we wanted for our big day. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and although the pictures are amazing! Visiting the venue in person and seeing it for ourselves completely blew us away and our wedding day was more beautiful than we could have ever imagined.

Maintain House Estate has so much personality and you can see and feel all he hard work that the owners have put in to create and maintain the property to give couples a magical place to start their lives together. 10000/10 recommend having your wedding here. You will not regret it!

Attended a family members wedding here and this event venue is gorgeous! Not to mention 420 friendly so that was a major plus. The staff were great and very friendly!
