Mountain Lakes Resort, Lytle Creek CA

It's a complete place for camping, all you need is come in set up and relax fish, and most of all just have LOTS OF FUN.

I visit this place every year and have been doing so for as long as i can remember. I've been told my family has been going since the 80's and nearly 40 years later i too plan to take my s/o and future family here one day as well! Its a nice break away from the norm. There's always things to do here and i enjoy it every year

I really enjoy this place, except for the power outages that last all day. I guess it wouldn't be so bad if they updated their notices, the ones I saw said the outage was on 7/17, we were there on the 27th and had no power from 8am to 9: 30pm. I also think they should invest in their members and make the place a little more attractive, like adding concrete pads for RVs and more grass. The landscaping is not what it used to be, there's way too much dirt now. It's hard to enjoy a meal outdoors. A face lift for Mtn Lakes is overdue.it is a "resort" after all, so it should look like one.

A lot more than expected, got a lot of activities to do with kids and family and pond/lake, and access to the river to relax amd get wet with the kidddos and do a lil bit of hiking

I’ve been coming for 3 years but this stay I was really disappointed. The family center always has broken games and broken coin machine. They still have the same games. Haven’t updated it at all. I wish they would put a bigger tv in the cabins with the money we spend. Wish the curfew time was 11 instead of 10. Then the ice cream didn’t open till 430 when it was suppose to be 4. Then they never clean the little kids pool. Always dead bugs, bunch of leaves and peoples hair in there.

On that note, the camp splash is pretty awesome that they put in.

For not being busy, since went Monday thru Wed. They could have given us the newer cabins. Instead of the construction equipment view, and for having a sing at entrance ambit stagflation being friendly, staff made big deal Amboy what kind of pass she forgot that you leave on the dash board but had her bracelet with scan bar, and still have her attitude, rolled eyes then scanned her, and met her out. On the way back in after picking us up from hike, bothers and I. Rolled downs windows and her attitude had changed! Wonder why? Now that we were with her!

I understand the security reasons, yet it's quite uncomfortable to have to wear a bracelet when you're trying to get away from everything. Gave me feel a lockdown feeling.

We love the resort. My problem is that I don't receive cell service here. My saving grace was the Wi-Fi which would allow me to respond to my emails or make phone calls. The WI fi service in my cabin and nearby my cabin was AWFUL. Couldn't even make a phone call on this wifi it was so bad. I know this shouldn't really be an issue because I'm technically on vacation when I come here. But I'm a realtor and I'm never really off of work. Otherwise we really enjoy coming here

Very cool place to go camping, fishing, and get lost from civilization. There's little stores there you can camp on a tent, bring your RV or rent a cabin.

Love this place to go camping there slot of things for kids to injoy. The only bad part about it no reception you have to rent a hot spot

3 stars is even a stretch for me. The kids they hire to monitor the pools and paddle boat rentals. Both Boys, not even old enough to have hair on their chest were both extremely rude. Customer service training highly recommended, the restaurant and bar was very comforting and pleasure to be at. All and all the place was very clean well kept. But not enough to purchase.

Loved loved it. Was invited by a family member and got blessed to see all the accommodations they have for their members. The employees are a true blessing. The only thing is we are early birds so waiting for the general store to open. Great Job Mountain Lakes, Thank you for everything

We Love Mountain Lakes Resort!
It's only a half hour away from our house!
They have a lot of activities.
But the fox tails were everywhere! They got in my dogs paws, tail, eyes!
Plus they got in my socks also my blanket on my bed! I really wish they would rake and tidy up each campsite after someone leaves! Other campgrounds do it

Had such a great time here with family. Lots of activities & events to do. Such as fishing, pools, paddle boats, karaoke, arcade, hiking trails and walking along the river stream etc.

I grew up at this campground, and now my aunt has a membership so my son will be growing up here too. Great escape, without going too far.

Too many new stupid rules. Ruined our father's day weekend. I've been coming here for 45 years. Never had so many restrictions and ridiculous rules.

The kids are always bizzy. I love that to become a member they run a background to make sure you are" not" a creep. So many activities from water games. Walk the creek, paddle boats, on site store, waterpark, fishing 6 days a week.a gym, and the adult center adult pool and jacuzzi. 2 kids pools.miniature golf. The activities seem endless. Arcade, arts and crafts. And claw machines that you play until you win.

This place is very cool with so much to do. Beautiful location and they check you in making sure all who enter are legitimate

It has entertainment for everyone. All the crew members are super friendly kids are safe inside the camp there is only one restaurant. Every one wears a bracelet. Bad thing is that is too expensive to become a member, only members can come in with 10 guest and have to be present, once member leaves guest are not allowed to go outside camp or you cant come back. Loved that it has cable ready if you bring TV. RV friendly or cars camping it has electricity regular 110 and a 220 for the RV. NICE AND PEACEFULL well guarded as well. Its pricey but worth it. For people who can afford it. Some mosquitos so prepare your self for mosquitos bites. It has a lot of nature around. Loved it.

This restaurant gives great service as well as enjoyable menu. My favourite place in the area. The drinks and food served rapidly and the rates are fair. Highly recommended.
