Mountain Springs Apartment Homes reviews
10Worst place I’ve lived. Neighbors constantly playing loud music and bass shakes entire buildings. Management refuses to enforce the rules and will target you for complaints. Gone down hill in the 6 years I lived here
This place was a great place to live about 3 years ago, But now it’s so trashy, the washers don’t work, the laundry room always dirty, there bad little kids running around late at night with no supervision. Never no parking & people are stingy with the parking. Cars will be parked at the same parking spot for months & will never get towed. A lot of druggies around the area. Also seen like 5 people get arrested here. I seen homeless shower at the pool area. And let’s not talk about the people to would have a party at the pool into 2am. But enough with the negative so here so positive maintenance people, they really are the best they do deserve that raise. Have some great friendly neighbors! Also shoutout to the guy to sells the corn!
YEAR 1:
I think most reviews of these apartments are overly critical.
I’ve had a great experience living here, and honestly have no complaints. Pricing is fair for the area, neighbors are quiet and friendly, living right next to the bike trail is great, and I enjoy watching the squirrels in the morning too so that’s a plus.
YEAR 2:
I’ve been here a little over a year now and my opinion has changed slightly. First, rent has gone up in price since I’ve been here. Supposedly that’ll keep happening each year.
Bummer.
There’s also a lot of activity that goes on around here at night. I’ve heard two shootings take place, (both within a week of each other), and witnessed one guy bleeding out in the liquor store behind the apartment complex after being shot. Cops stopped me while on night walk to ask if I’ve seen a man with a gun that they were searching for. A homeless guy was also beaten to death with a piece of rebar by another homeless guy at the park down the street. Basically, it’s not really safe around here at night. I still go on walks because I don’t really care. But be careful, especially if you’re alone.
Finally, they cut the trees here, and ruined the homes for all the squirrels. A lot of the squirrels have left, and I have nothing to look at when I glance out my windows in the morning. I miss those little dudes. I wonder where they’ve gone.
Overall, I still like it here, and I think it’s nice. But I can do with less gunshots and more squirrels.
YEAR 3:
Rent went up $120/month. That’s a pretty steep increase, if you ask me. But I asked management about it and supposedly it’s not up to them.
The maintenance guys here do a great job keeping up with repairs. Shoutout to the grounds guys for always keeping the place clean too.
Haven’t noticed any more gunshots recently. Maybe things are looking up.
I lived here for two years. There are very friendly people that live there, but the vibe of management is like you are in an institution and constantly being watched and judged. It is not friendly or welcoming. There are very few amenities for the price comparatively to other complexes. One of the two spas was broken and lukewarm for at least a year. Management did a pre move out inspection, but never communicated their findings. And there is constant work and gardening being done. They don’t really consider that maybe people work or value privacy and peace at home. Don’t move here if you expect to be respected or honored as a resident.
I lived here for 3 years and i finally left after gang members started breaking in at night. The staff is very fake and unprofessional. The main gate is always broken and homeless people come in and out of the community. Not a place
I would recommend. Keep looking.
I’ve been living here for almost 6 months and overall it’s a good place to live, apartments are well maintained, all areas are clean and most of the time very calm and safe. Location is also very good!
Giving 4 stars just because security it’s not the best, anyone can enter thru the gates during the day, I got 1 package stolen from my front door while on vacations, Police is also here every now and then. Parking is only an issue between 4-9 pm. Staff are also polite and helpful.
Generally a nice area to live. My main complaints right now is security. In the first half of 2021, my car has been broken into once, and my storage lockers in my carport has been broken into twice. I believe these thefts occured during the early morning hours or during the day. There's a security guard in the evening that walks around. I was told by management there's no security cameras. It's pretty frustrating.
These apartments were nice and great place to live in. The apartment itself was pretty big for a 1 bedroom. The staff were great too especially Maria, she was always nice and helpful.
Great place
Bbq and two pool areas
the energy is always peaceful
this place is good to raise a family
I liked living in Mountain Springs. The apartment complex is nice and very well maintained. The front desk staff are very professional and always listen to what we need. Special shout-out to Maria M. She is very friendly and courteous and always took care of issues in our apartment. Also, to Jimmy for being a wonderful repairman.
