Mountain View Grille at the Desert Princess, Cathedral City CA

There was an error in my order due to a language barrier with my server but they were quick to rectify the issue. Food was very tasty and hot. Atmosphere was very inviting. If I'm back in this area again, I'd make the effort to return.

Went for thanksgiving brunch. Great spread for main dishes. Friendly service. Only thing lacking was the dessert selection. Good value at $50/pp

I met friends here for lunch today. One person is a member of Desert Princess, so we all received a 20% discount on her tab. The turkey sandwich was excellent, and big enough for two people to share. Fries were hot and tasty. Also ordered the Asian Chicken Salad; just the right size, and delish! Service here is top notch. Enjoyed our friends, conversation, wine, and the nice golf setting in this friendly place.

A large bland room with food to match. Not all of the menu was available upon arrival so our options were limited (would've loved to try a flatbread). I went with the beef dip. The beef was obviously prepackacked, presliced, and highly processed. I'd be surprised if it wasn't microwaved. The ranch dip for my onion rings was watery and unsatisfying. The onion rings were decent as they had that greasy and cheapish deep fried flavor that you'd find in a bowling alley (this is a good thing, this is how onion rings should be!)

The waitress was friendly and attentive. I have nothing but good things to say about her.

The vibe of the room was disappointing. I felt like I travelled back to 1993 and was visiting a minimally equipped conference room. Aside from the bar in the corner there's no way you would think this is a restaurant.

Update the space and update the menu. With a little effort, this place could be a gem.

The steak and fries with the brown sauce was perfect. The service was a bit slow but friendly. Great views and atmosphere.

Really good food and amazing service by Maria Bonita. My rotisserie chicken was delicious and juicy and the ribeye was perfectly cooked. Looks dated but feels very comfortable.

Hidden jem of a restaurant on Landau in Cathedral City. Would have never known about this place if not for savvy full-time residents of the Greater Palm Springs area. There is the Breakfast Special, not listed on the menu, inquire with the friendliest staff. Beautiful views of the golf putt practice area as well as the mountains; you will enjoy the ambiance and delicious fare at this Grille. The word is out & tell a friend or two!

We got eggs benny delivered and they were perfectly hot and the eggs were still runny! It’s hard to keep poached eggs at the right temp for delivery so that was a pleasant surprise. I got the regular benny but subbed the ham for avocado. The food was all super tasty and we love Alex who delivered our food. She’s so friendly and kind!

If you’re staying at the Double Tree hotel EAT HERE! Beautiful property and we love the happy hour. Staff were all nice and food was quality and flavorful.

There were some errors and wait times were a while but a great experience overall.

Highly recommend the patio area. Very relaxing ambiance.

The food is fine but the hours and surprise closings make this place extremely aggravating. Their hours make no sense. One time I arrived to find it closed for bingo! Yesterday I checked the hours to make sure they would be open but when I arrived last night for dinner, they were closed for a private event! They have a private club next door for just this purpose which is always closed but oh no, they had to close the main restaurant and bar. I’m done! I sincerely hope the adults show up one day to manage this place properly and make it the great place that it could be.

Very good food. It's very consistent from one visit to the next. The service is just slow. They seem to be very understaffed. The bartender is excellent and on a dead run whenever he's there.

Lovely restaurant. Efficient, friendly staff. Good artichoke spinach dip and best sweet potato fries with Stella. Also good hash browns. Coffee not so much. Beautiful views. Fair prices.

Mary Linda was our server. She was very pleasant and helpful as it was my first time there. She is very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was amazing and great price. Will definitely be back. I highly recommend the beef dip sandwich with sweet potato fries. And brownie ala mode for dessert

We ate here after a playing a round of golf. We only ordered a couple of the appetizers. The artichoke spinach dip and shrimp Mac and cheese are highly recommended.
