Briana was absolutely great with everything. I knew planning a funeral was going to be very hard and expensive. But I love how she answered every question we had. Very helpful through the whole process. Thank you guys for everything. Also thank you to Aimee Lee for still helping with my grandparents headstone.

Really nice people they understood me and my kids they took care of my daughter and grandson really well thank you tatiana and everyone who works there from the battom of my heart.

This place is horrible! Save yourself the heartache and put your loved ones somewhere else. Since the moment my mom made arrangements here, there have been nothing but issues. Since she passed, even more issues. It took OVER A YEAR to get her placard; come to find out they dropped the ball placing the order. I found that out, they never told our family that. They never return calls, and give you the run around when they do. I will be filing a formal complaint with Amy the director and her boss Miguel. I want to have my mother moved out of this place. UPDATE: I read their response. When the revision was approved by us which was in July, it was never sent. It took months. We got it in January, after I received information that the order was not placed! It was only taken care of after I called the placard place directly. It was not because of the shortage! Do not respond as if we did something wrong. This was completely your staff's fault. I would follow up, but I doubt anything will be handled based on your reviews. Your staff are either terrible at your jobs, or you and your staff deliberately don't care about people. Either way, FIND A DIFFERENT PLACE FOR YOUR LOVED ONES. Also, if anything is left at the site. They throw everything away on a certain day for lawn care. Read the fine print, and just know you will not be able to grieve with your loved one at this place in peace.

Staff were disorganized and poor to get back to counter parts in Sacramento delaying transfer of my dads remains No care director to take charge until just ready for burial Seems like more coordination last year when we buried mother. However still waiting for headstone to be placed as no word or organization about headstone after moms burial in July of last year Still waiting on headstone 3 months after dads burial

My mom has been buried for 7 years. This year 2023 I am very disappointed with this Cemetery on the flower pick up schedule. Plus they stop Putting the pink flag for birthdays This is not right people spend a lot of money to bury their loved ones. 5-20-23 update!

Honestly i’ve never had to plan a funeral in my 27 years of living so when my mom started to decline and said she wanted to be buried at Mt. View alongside her parents i started there and was an open book to the staff about not knowing were to start and I would be paying completely out of pocket (no life insurance involved). At first i went to open a payment plan for the property and we only did that for a couple of months before she passed. So when i went in after she passed i mentioned that to them and they offered me a quote for the service and repass to have all of the services there with them. I explained to them that we were fundraising as a family and needed to know the exact amount needed and by what date so they said “ we will print out a Quote with all of the funeral and repass services along with the existing property charges as well “ so they did and we worked our butts off to get that amount ($12,000) by the specific date. I went in to pay the amount and all of a sudden there is a second UNMENTIONED bill of $4,500. I was truly appalled because the service was in less than a week and we were now supposed to pull this extra money from thin air. Of course they apologized for the “misunderstanding “ but tried to blame it on the fact “I had so much going on” as if they mentioned it and i forgot or something.
We did this credit card thing to make up for the money and moved on to services, The day of the service her portrait was not ready, i had explained to them before ordering it that i wanted it there at the service and at burial site on an easel for display and they said that wouldn’t be a problem. The day of they said they had no idea were it was and left it as that. Never heard anything else about it until the next week!
Also the day of the service I had multiple guest come up to me including my grieving brother and tell me that the staff was being rude when asking for directions.there was a couple more little communication things in the whole process of planning that were agreed upon but when it came time was not delivered.
The aftercare appointment came up with the same person who forgot to tell me about the UNMENTIONED bill to go over all of the above and begin the marker and she doesn’t show up to the appointment.
I still voiced all of the above with another staff member that day and left and they emailed me with their “apology “ and offered me a free memorial candle for my troubles lol
when you think of a funeral you think peace and properly sending off your love one in the most pleasant way but this wasn’t it for me. Also when people are paying $17,000 Cash for a service you also would assume they would do their upmost best to make things easy and smooth and they would be polite but for others sake i truly hope this was not there best.

Erica was the best and the chapel was beautiful when got to the service ot was so beautiful had a private viewing of my dad and was such a beautiful room. Everyone was so nice diffently do future services here

I am always seeing covered-by-soil gravestones. Take better care of people's family plots Mt. View!

The staff at Mt. View has been for our family very kind, caring, and respectful.great qualities for a Mortuary.

I have a question, there has been a couple of my relatives that have had viewing at Mt. View. What troubles me, is I am black and both of my family members has had the darkest black makeup on them in which it changes who they were. Almost unrecognizable one of my cousins was very light skinned and when I viewed his body it was traumatizing because of the makeup that was put on him. Once again another one my family members the same thing there was no trauma to their bodies where it could be deemed necessary. WHY!

Ken Gasca is amazing. The mortuary workers are all amazing people who have your best interests at heart.

Briana was extremely kind throughout the entire time. I will definitely use this Mortuary again knowing I’m in good caring hands!

Staff is very helpful kind and professional but I would have to say check your paperwork and even check it twice my mother purchased her plot in 2013 we went in today just to go over her plans was told they left out a fee do to there error so now we had to not only, had to pay the fee but pay it at today's rates which is of course higher at least we where able to catch it now and not the future which I'm sure would be even more.

I would like to thank Brianna for all of her assistance during this rough time of ours. She was polite, courteous, understanding, and answered every question we had even after my mom's services were done. The process was although very hard on our family was made to be simple thanks to Brianna. My mom's service was exactly what we asked for. The staff was understanding and didn't rush us whatsoever. We appreciate that our mother was handled with care and we are grateful for all of your services. Thank you.
