Muffin Can Stop Us reviews
16Love this place. It’s my favorite spot for a quick breakfast bite in Glendale. So so delicious and reliable. I only wish they had at more plant-based or vegan food options for their sandwiches!
Place is pretty legit, very fresh, food was top notch. Service was nice can't recall the lady in the a.m. Name but she was pretty cool explaining the menu and taking her time doing so without making me feel unimportant.
Love the food and your sandwiches are always very tasty. I just wish that sometimes it would not take so long.
Had a very reasonably priced, very tasty breakfast sandwich with bacon, avocado, and tomato. Looked like a cute place with a couple tables to eat at in front, although the check out/ take out line seemed a little disorganized. Iced coffee was fantastic too.
No restrooms
No cash
Watery over filled coffee
Wow amazing blueberry muffin
Great quick and yummy breakfast spot, especially on a sunny day when you can sit outside and eat there. The view of the Glendale mountains is always a plus.
Cute little walk up cafe with outdoor seating area. The drinks, sandwiches and hashbrowns are so tastey. Everything is well made with fresh ingredients. The service here is so fast as well, great place to grab a quick light meal on the go. Also, folks who work here are so awesome. Thank you for the tastey, fast, and kind service.
So happy the Sojuu is back! Muffins are excellent as is the coffee (got the Horchata and Raspberry Mocha both iced). Saw that there’s a new pastrami flavor, which sounds intriguing, but it wasn’t located anywhere on the menu (the Sojuu isn’t either, but we had it before and there was a banner up saying it was back). Perhaps consider adding on the new menu items by the register, so people ordering can see the full menu, if it isn’t cost effective to alter your current menu.
Look clean. Staff is all nice. And makes me wanna try them all menu, they r look yummy! And drinks too. And most important, is price. It's very reasonable! I'm definitely recommend. Why I didn't give we them 5 stars is it was only my first time visiting.
Outdoor seating dog friendly!
I'm in Glendale quite often and every time I pass by this place its always busy, arrived on a Sunday around 730am. Decided to treat the fam so it wasn't a surprise when the bill came out to about $60+ tip for 5 sandos and 4 hash browns! I really had high hopes for this place and I have to say the Redemption Sausage - Chicken Sausage, Cheddar, Egg, Aioli and the Classic Americano - Crispy Bacon, cheddar, egg and Aioli was good but not great!
I was very disappointed with the hashbrowns that were advertised as seasoned with ranch dressing, not only did they taste old even though they just opened but the seasoning was lacking. The hashbrowns are reminiscent of those you buy at Smart and Final, Vallarta, El super, Walmart that come in a pack then all you gotta do is throw it in the hot oil but these seemed air fried to keep them healthier which change the crispiness profile. Add it to your sando maybe it'll help.
Down to give them another try!
I will start by saying that the muffins are outstanding and the people that work here are wonderful. But please open up the second window as a pickup window for God's sake! Everybody crowds around one window trying to place orders and pick up orders. It's constant chaos. That's my only gripe.
The food was good. But be prepared to wait for a long time. I did an online order thinking it was going to be fast. I ordered online at 10: 50. The time estimated for pick up would be ready at 11: 15. I got there at 11: 10 there was a huge line. I went to the counter and gave my name, she said it wasnt ready yet, they are busy and will call me when it is ready. My order was not ready until 11: 35. Even then, i still had to wait for my drinks to be ready which was another 5 minutes. I probably wont be going back.
Yes, the muffin can stop you from having a good breakfast.
Quaint idea and yet executed with averageness. Sandwiches do not equate to the concept of value and doubled down with a long wait a cold sandwich was difficult to eat.
Most certainly you can get a better cup of coffee just across the street next to TJ's.
I LOVE this place. The muffins are fantastic and the service is top notch. Four local brothers started this and make you feel right at home in Glendale.
I enjoyed my sandwich here. Nothing special, but not bad. However, the peach infusion tea had very little flavor - just tasted like sweetener to me. My partner enjoyed his sandwich but his cold brew was over sweetened and over iced, he finished it in three sips. Will return for sandwiches, not for drinks.
Staff was very welcoming & informative, the food recommendations given was the best choice I could’ve made. Classic Americano with an addition of a hash brown & avocado + their house Cali sauce satisfied me in ways I didn’t know I needed! The whole “Muffin” theme was the cherry on top to the atmosphere. Would come back 10/5. I wish I I had taken pictures but I was hungry & devoured my sandwich on sight.
