Great place to buy a bike, and for parts. Terrific group of people. I saved much on a 2022 Triumph T120. Ordering parts for my older bike has also been a breeze.

Spoke with A manager about finding a part I had been destitute in locating, he not only found it, but celebrated with me, these are the kind of guys that made me want a motorcycle in the first place, Highly knowledgeable, incredibly friendly, 11/10

Munroe Motors is Outstanding! I have been going there for 10+ yrs and have never been disappointed. From their Sales Team, to Parts Team to Service are the best! Personable, Professional, Courteous. Best motorcycle shop on west coast! Highly Recommend!

I just picked up a 2022 Triumph Street Twin at Munroe Motors and I could not be happier with the whole experience!
Matthew at the sales department was incredibly helpful, responsive and patient as I sent him endless emails about the bike I was interested in.
Danny at the finance department made the process as smooth as possible. He was super genuine and helpful.
I couldn’t recommend these guys more! If you are looking for a bike, checkout this shop. You won’t be disappointed.

Rode 3+ hours because I heard these guys were the best. The rumors were true. They went above and beyond despite only getting a 5k service on my Thruxton. They also had a Bluetooth helmet unit I was looking to buy, they price matched it for me and did a pro install. Really cool shop with a great selection of bikes. Staffed by people who are passionate about motorcycling and know what they're doing. I'll be going exclusively through them for an future service or bike purchase. Thanks guys!

I love coming here, bought tires and other parts for my bike. Parts Department, Showroom staff and Service Department all have great attitudes, nice chit chat and knowledge to pass on to fellow riders. I can always count on Munroe Motors.

Went here for a warranty drop-off and the staff were professional and friendly. After they had done the work the technician provided me some additional information about some bolts that he had tightened up on a once-over of the bike - something he didn't need to do and was greatly appreciated. So why am I deducting one star? Parking. Absolutely not their fault, and because I don't live in SF the traffic and streets are just insane to me - that said I have to review based on my experience and so this is why I gave 4. So tl;dr is that if you're used to SF traffic it's a 5, if you're not, it's a 4.

TL; DR: Munroe is awesome. They respond quick have tons of knowledge and made service and purchasing stress free. Their credit back program is nice if you want to buy aftermarket parts and save a bit on service.

Picture this, you went to visit family you haven't seen in two years. You made plans to go riding before you leave the city. Your trip is great, but you smile as boarding starts because you can already smell the ocean breeze and hear roar of your bike’s engine as you inch closer home. The flight lands around 7pm and you take BART home drop your things and decide to go check on your bike before you grab dinner.

It’s gone.

That was my situation around early February 2022. After my bike was eventually recovered it was damaged and initially didn’t look that bad. Thankfully, Munroe Motors was great at helping me out. I decided to go with Munroe because they’re an official Triumph dealer and I wanted to ensure that nothing was missed or repaired incorrectly. I made a good decision because after further inspection they ended up finding a cut in the frame which ended up totaling my 2013 Street Triple. Munroe made getting the bike in shop and inspected quick (it only took about a day on short notice). They also completed all the required insurance paperwork before I even had a chance to ask them to do so. It made dealing with the insurance company much easier.

After getting my settlement I was in the market for a new bike. I decided to look at some other brands just because I had ridden the Street Triple for almost ten years (I purchased it new). I couldn’t really find another bike in the middle weight category that that I liked, and the used market (May 2022 as of this writing) is tough. I decided I would buy new. I initially didn’t plan on buying in the city but after checking other dealers around the bay they either were dealing with limited stock or prices that were higher than Munroe. I also would have to deal with finding transport outside the city because my Motorcycle was my only form of personal transportation. I initially was set on the RS model but after talking to Andy and Dan I realized that the R would fit my needs and it came in a low ride height version. I could finally completely flat foot my bike!

What’s also great is that in addition to having the option to prepurchase service packages (You want one if you buy a Ducati and ride a lot) but they also have tons of additional coverage. I decided to go with an extended warranty, the tire and wheel road hazard insurance which gets me a free replacement tire along with wheel repair/replacement if required. This also covers and tires you install not just the initial set, and it includes about 40 miles of free towing if needed. I also picked up theft insurance which would payout up to $5,000 in the event my bike is stolen which would be on top of any insurance settlement. I sleep like a rock.

Finally, I’m a freelancer so sometimes getting financing can be tricky. Luckily, Dan has tons of experience and was able to help me navigate through everything and helped me get approved for a loan with a great rate although I did put down a respectable down payment. I also like how he ensured that I completely understood everything before signing and even was willing to double check to make sure I was okay with everything. I feel that all things considered everyone made my experience super easy. While this wasn’t the way I was expecting to get a new motorcycle, I can say it was the most enjoyable large purchase I’ve made in a long time, and I really believe its because everyone that works there truly lives to ride.

P. S. Shout out to Kyle in the parts department for bringing up the advantages of multi point frame sliders over single point. Ask him about it.

Munroe Motors is in a class by itself. They are the Nordstrom of motorcycle customer experience. From my first contact to the continued patronage, in ALL aspects of the experience, each and every employee made me feel like my business was important to them and they wanted me as a long-term client, not just a quick sale and move on to the next customer. Andy, Matthew, Danny, Kyle and their service team were efficient, professional, and friendly. Thanks again for a top-notch experience.

These guys aren't just some of the most friendly and knowledgeable folks you'll find, they love what they do too. The sales process was smooth and low pressure, where everyone involved took the time to carefully explain the pros and cons of different options they had.

It's pretty easy to understand why they're the longest lasting motorcycle dealership in the Bay, they're the best.

San Francisco’s local Ducati Husqvarna Moto Guzzi and Triumph dealer. Good selection of accessories and apparel, dedicated long term employees that care. Capable service department.

Love these guys. They got my Bonnie rolling again after another garage in town couldn’t figure out the problem. Also got myself some sweat new summer gloves and some ideas for a future 2nd ride in my garage. Ask for Matthew, he’s super knowledgeable and fun.

I bought my Triumph at Munroe and have been going here for years. Experience was uneven early on, but lately it’s been stellar.
Most recent example: A few weeks ago, my bike wouldn’t start so I had it towed in. They replaced a blown fuse but couldn’t find a cause. I also had them do the annual service. I rode the bike home the next day. The day after, the bike wouldn’t start again. [Obviously, this isn’t the good part] I called and everyone in the service dept was super friendly, said they’d take care of it. One of the owners came out himself to pick up the bike. He was friendly, entirely present / not rushed, keen to solve the problem, and clearly super knowledgeable. He asked several questions and patiently listened to my concerns regarding the way the wiring was laid out on the bike, particularly around the headstock and into the headlamp bucket, and as he was loading the bike, he figured it out! The next day, he brought it back himself with the problem fixed, all the wiring cleaned up, and some extra fuses under the seat to boot. I’m very happy w/ the service.

They will trick you into doing service that you don't need. They told me my drive chain was "definitely loose" and it needed adjustment, even though my bike was just last month on a service. The guy said it will cost me $60 to tighten it. At the end, they just put lube on it! They did not adjust my chain at all because it didn't need any adjustment. I find that super dishonest. I complained, but they refused to refund me. Very bad service!

Highly commendable employees and service. I give my highest recommendations and appreciation to the staff at Munroe Motors SF. I want to specifically recommend Matthew Thrun (in sales) and Kyle (in parts and service), although the whole team at Munroe are lovely people. Buying a motorcycle can be a harrowing process, especially as a female ride. I was treated with respect from the moment I contacted Munroe through their web portal. Matthew provided me with timely feedback via multiple forms of communication (email, phone call, text) and consistently addressed my questions and concerns. I was never spoken to in a condescending manner or as if I had no understanding of the products I wished to purchase. At the same time, Matthew was kind and patience in answering all my questions and addressing my concerns. When I picked up the bike Matthew walked me through each aspect of my machine. He understood me as a rider and knew I was upgrading to a more technologically integrated bike. More importantly, he knew the machine and had done his research to understand and anticipate what questions I might have about my new beauty. Finally, if you need a helmet or part just ask Kyle. He was able to obtain my request overnight and I picked it up next day – willing to put in the extra effort for the customer. Wherever you live in the Bay make the trip to Munroe. – From 0077

Didnt buy anything, just based review off customer experience. If I were to buy a bike it would be here. Inventory was awesome, but I’m a Ducati fan. Garage style shop and all the employees bikes parked outside are the models they sell, so you know they’re not here for just a job, they love the products.
