Muzen Sushi reviews
17 Been coming for years. Never disappointed. Try the king salmon sushi.
2023 edit: Must be new ownership. Fish is fishy. Quality is just average. Such a shame. Ruined my favorite restaurant.
It is a must to sit at the bar and have omakase. We relished every piece, from the appetizers to the dessert!
I love this place. You have to try their Omakase and their spicy tuna crispy is unmatched. Also super friendly servers
Was here for thanksgiving break 2022. Came here when other options in the complex were not available and we’re glad we did. The hamachi collar is the best I’ve had and the salmon skin salad is fantastic. The lobster roll was good as is the sushi.
I’ve been here several times now- the sushi is always fresh, the cuts are nice sized and don’t include any sinewy bits, and their daily specials are delicious. Service is 10/10 and I really appreciate that they haven’t price gouged their customers, even with inflation being what it is. This has turned into my new Monday lunchtime routine and I love introducing people who are new to Westlake to the best sushi spot in town.
We ordered omakase and it was fantastic. Every course was delicious and the service was great. We will regularly go back to Muzen Sushi.
Small local place, I love sitting outside. Great selection, very tasty sushi. Reliably delicious.
Living in Asia since 2012, travelled the world since 20 years and so far I never ever experienced a disgusting dinner like yesterday night.
Awful service from all waiters
Annoying excuses for all the mistakes made
Couldn't wait for that to be over.
Never again!
We Had Some Platters Delivered to Us today to Celebrate Our Cornea Specialist's Birthday and the Teriyaki Salmon Platter with Miso Soup was Beyond Amazing it was Tender, Flavorful, the Radishes and the Baby Tomato that Balanced Out the Sweetness of the Salmon and the Crunch from Salmon Skin was Complimented Well by the Arugula Salad and Miso Soup? The Perfect Medley to a Hungree Associate ~
Thank you
Hope to Dine In and Taste the Sushi Someday Soon?
Had a great time here. The sushi was absolutely delicious, with everything we ordered coming out fairly quickly and really really good. Would highly recommend it. It is a little expensive, but worth it.
Have gone a few times, and food has been good at every visit. So far the salmon rice appetizer and albacore special roll have been out favorites.
Best sushi ever! Spicy salmon on crispy rice, Albacore Special Roll with crispy onions, fresh salad, and a bright yellow flower make this a feast for the eyes! Muzen Sushi has inside AND outside dining (I prefer the outside experience, and they have heaters in case it's too chilly). I didn't get the Lemon Roll this time, but it's also delicious, as well as the Rainbow Roll. I love this place!
Great fish, friendly service.
"The albacore almost melted in your mouth" was my wife's content as we were leaving. Muzen didn't have a bunch of speciality rolls like a lot of places do, although I'm sure they would make them for you. Their offerings were about the fish. And it was great.
My favorite place to go for sushi, hands down best sushi ever! They have some of the most plain, yet unique, delicious, dishes bursting with flavor. Don't take my word for it, go check this place out for yourself. They are open for outside dinning and they do have a waiting list, where they can put your name down.
Ms. Jiyeong is wonderful and friendly staffs. Hostess can recommend menu items if you are confused or have special dietary modifications. Excellent choices for keto Paleo vegan customers. No preservative, no food coloring in wasabi.
Sushi chefs are trained in Japan and they can speak Japanese, Korean, and English. Wonderful place to learn Japanese and Korean cultures. Indoor dining is welcome.
Best sushi North/West of Los Angeles. Hands down. Worth the short drive from the SF Valley. Trust your Chef and order what they recommend. You won't be sorry. Sit at the sushi bar, or during Covid limitations, walk in and chat to Chef (from afar) before you order. Wonderful Chefs, wonderful staff, and I can't recommend this place strongly enough.
