Amazing service, selection and atmosphere! The cashier informed me they didn’t have the drink I wanted, next thing I notice him walking up to show me the comparable products they have! The service is unparalleled.

I enjoy John's because of the wide variety of wines available. What's better is that the employees are quite knowledgeable about wines in particular. Very friendly as well.

The guys at myrtlewood liquors have excellent customer service. My husband loves to talk shop with the clerks and they even have tasting options available. We definitely try to support our small businesses and shop from this establishment.

Great customer service. Okay price. And a huge selection of alcohol, also they keep some of their booze on ice and that is different. Also this is where I buy all my zippos for me and as gifts

Something that I always miss about Humboldt. I always try and stock up when im in town, even if I buy so much it starts to get stale before I can smoke it all. Maybe next time I'll have to pick up something to protect the tobacco from the heat down here.

Their top shelf liquor and fancy chocolates account for half the gifts I give in a year. Plus they have all the corner store cheap stuff and snacks.

Friendly folks behind the counter and a wonderful selection of fine spirits. They always have great suggestions, and want to know what you think about the liquor you purchase. Couldn't ask for a better go-to neighborhood liquor store. Oh, and they have fine tobacco and chocolate, too! What more could you want? !

When I move away this will be the only place I will miss. I drive from Arcata just to buy things here.

A lot of obscure and fancy alcohol, usually carries the stuff you can't even find at Bevmo. I'm no expert at cigars but their selection and staff is very helpful for a newbie. Awesome selection of mixers, bitters and other bartender oddities and non alcoholic drinks too
