Nail Fetish reviews
8Been trying this place a few times since moving into the neighborhood. This place overbooks and misses appointments. Not professional. Owner claimed he had no phone call from me to book my appointment and turned me away but I’ve attached proof here.
The narcissistic, rude, and obnoxious owner of this shop creates a scene when customers complain about poor quality service. Worse yet, he and his employees start talking in Vietnamese "as if" customers are not smart enough to figure out they are the topic of conversation. This shop is not the only game in town. Spare yourself and find a business with enough common decency to respect the hard earned money you are paying for their service.
I’ve been coming to Nail Fetish for several years and they are my favorite! I’m always happy with the results and I just love the cute salon! Very zen and calming. I have friends that when they come to visit me in LA ask if we can visit Nail Fetish.
My nails came out sloppy and my nail tech was rude. She was rushed and had a nasty attitude when I pointed out she had forgotten the top coat on the other foot. The only reason I am not giving it a one star is because other techs seemed friendly and respectful to their patrons.
Do not go to this place. Covid guidelines are not in place.
The owner is extremely rude to women. I felt awful hearing how he was talking to paying customers and employees. The place is a hole in the wall but I decided to give the place a chance due to the convenience of location. I booked an appointment and I still waited over 1 hour to be seated. They allowed a few demanding divas come in and demand to be seated immediately, conflicting with the time of their current appointments. I sat there for so long I noticed they charged each person different prices for the same work. The elderly were charged more, women with designer bags and so were minorities. I heard one of the employees say "Charge her $10's more. She's not going to tip. " Their language is my 3rd language. Aside from that the quality of my nails were embarrassing. I wouldn't mind paying more if they were close to decent. My nails look as if it was the 1st set the nail tech ever done. I feel as though I was over charged because I refused to tip due to my overall experience. Most importantly it wasn't clean. The roaches crawling under the pedicure chairs made my skin crawl. Do yourself a favor and do your nails at home if this place is your only option. Kind regards.
I had a really bad experience with this salon. I want to say, the salon was clean - but that was the only good thing. The lady asked if I wanted my callus removed.
She told Me it was $10. She put some soap, washed it one time and never removed anything. Then, she put a color on I didn't ask for as a design. Then 2 different people did my manicure. I asked for gel- which should last for atleast 3 weeks. The minute I walked out, I noticed one of my nails had bubbles. 4 days after I got my nails done, the polish started chipping off. My toe polish is not on even. I have never been to such a horrible place. I was charged $81.so, not only were they overpriced- it was a horrible job! I will never return to this salon!
Ann did an amazing job.she was extremely knowledgeable and professional. The entire staff is good. Especially Keith
