16 Great vibe, sweet service
My friend and I went in today for the first time since COVID. NL got a face lift, and it works. The exposed brick, art on the walls, and new furniture fits the space and sets the tone well.
The best part of our experience was our barista, Jade. They were so attentive, patient, and all around lovely. Their mood was so good. Customer service can be rough, but Jade has such an amazing spirit and personality that I left in a better mood simply because I was around Jade. What a refreshing experience. And our matcha and London Fogs were delicious. We only left because our meter ran out and we were out of coins. Thanks for being you, Jade. NL is lucky to have Jade and is nailing the vibe.
One of my top three favorite coffeeshops in Chico! Delicious drinks and fun atmosphere, especially on weekends. Great place for meeting friends or having a coffee date.
Great spot for a coffee & some avocado toast! Excellent location and very friendly staff.
The best mocha I’ve ever had, hand crafted by the one and only Myah. Rose mocha with breve, absolutely delicious. Thank you Myah! ️
Good but not as good as they used to be. Coffee is pretty tasty but they no longer make some of my favorites like hazelnut coffee (haze craze). Likely this is due to change in ownership and the impact of covid. Overall, if you are in the Madison bear part of town, this is the best coffee spot.only second best to the amazing Brave coffee (assuming you're willing to drive there).
I used to love this place but ever since they started closing early I haven't been going at all really. I'd go more often if they stayed open til 11 again cuz it really helps me get my homework done to have somewhere else besides my very distracting house to do it. The coffee is good, but the tea is better. The food is good too. I also miss the punk shows.
Sat down with a friend and talked over an iced machata tea. Love the decor and vibes. Could be more accessible.
First coffee shop I went to when moved to Chico 20 years ago. Loved it then and love it now
Refused to give a homeless person a cup of water because its "bad for business" never coming here again. The coffee is also super sour.
One of my favorite stops here in Downtown Chico! I love to come in here and admire their display art. The workers are very down to earth and their coffee + pastry-selections are the absolute best. Highly recommend their matcha lattes, cold brew, and chai tea lattes. A very good place to stop and buy a cup of coffee with some friends.
Kind staff, good thai coffee, weird music & way different since they changed owners. Art
Staple downtown coffee shop with all the basics for your caffeine needs. Good virus protocol and plenty of outdoor seating extended into the street. Always awesome at up on the walls that is usually for sale. They had had live music in the evenings before the pandemic and they were well attended. I usually get a mocha of some sort and it's always tasty and pretty with some foam design. Get Naked today!
Awesome.as always! Best coffee and a great 'chill' experience. Highly recommend!
Mmmm mmmm good! Happy to find a coffee shop with such wonderful goodness for my taste buds to taste. Recommend rewarding Your mouth with the Smooth rich rewarding flavors offered up here! Enjoy and be awesome
Average experience, barista wasn’t very friendly. The espresso was robust, but tasted slightly burnt.
