Napa Discovery Inn

Motel dedicated to tranquility, each room, depending on the type chosen, has a more or less large parking lot.possibility of small take away breakfast in the morning. The only flaw, difficulty in heating the room.

I only gave this hotel 1 star because it wouldn't let me give it zero. Tiny room, mattress was hard as concrete and cheap, I'm 6'2" and my head rubbed the ceiling in the bathroom and I had to stoop in the shower. No coffee pot in the room and there was no breakfast or coffee available as the lobby door remained locked the whole time. We were awakened by someone beating on our door at 2: 30AM trying to make a "delivery". The heater/ air conditioner is in the wall and blows directly onto the head of the bed. This is a good hotel to send your mother-in-law to, but no one you actually care about. I have had much better accommodations in an outfitters camp. The only thing this hotel is good for is sheltering from the elements.

I would not stay here in the winter. We stayed in early November and the room was incredibly cold, even when we had the heater cranked to maximum. There is no heater in the bathroom so it was very cold.

Okay here's the non-heater review. It's a very basic motel, but well done. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable. The Wi-Fi was pretty reliable. The towels were old but clean. Overall seems like a good budget place to stay in Napa, subject to the weather.

Nice clean rooms/"small houses" therefor you don't have neighbour noices.
We paid $110 a night including a simple breakfast.
Their is quiet some traffic but if you have a room at the back it'll be oke.

A few years ago I visited that Napa. I decided I was going to stay the night so I called the Napa Valley Discovery Inn and asked if they had any vacancy's which they told me they did.
Upon my arrival the staff told me there were no r vaccines so I went to a different hotel. Outta curiosity I called Napa Valley Discovery Inn again that same night and once again they told me over the phone that they have open rooms.
The person working the desk was extremely rude but from reading the reviews it's a good thing they faked not having vacancies.

Napa Discovery Inn partners with hotwire but does not honor hotwire reservations. If you reserve thru hotwire, you will not have a place to stay. Terrible.

The owner was so incredible and very accomodating with us and our 1 year old twins. Quick check in and fabulous location in Napa. The rooms are great and clean and the price is fantastic. Highly recommend! We will certainly be back to stay on our next trip to Napa.

There is free parking at the hotel. Be prepared for a lengthy check in with the man at the window and he will ask you when you are leaving the next day. Traffic is heavy on the highway and easily heard from rooms closest to it. Only gave us one key card and asked it be returned to window on our departure. NO coffee in room or lobby and breakfast was not provided. Rooms are very old and lighting isn't great in bathroom by the mirror. The linens on the bed smelled fresh but the bed was not very comfortable. You could almost feel the bed springs in it. Definitely will not book there again. Beware: Pictures on website are very deceiving regarding reality.

I arrived late in the evening. Upon arriving, I had to wait outside in the cold for someone to obviously wake up in the next room. He asked me what time I would be leaving. I stated the latest check out time because I needed to go to work 2 hours after arriving (I’m from the central coast) he said ok. I will checkout at 11. Upon getting to my room, I noticed a very potent stench of urine outside and inside my room. When I walked in, I noticed very dirty black on the walls and stained pillows and sheets. My 5’7 husband could barely enter the bathroom without his head hitting the ceiling. But we slept briefly before work. Left and returned at 8am for a cat nap. At 9 the phone rang. On the other end, the gentleman from the front. Yelling at us asking if we were staying another night. We said no. We were going to leave at checkout. At 11. We left at 10: 15. I was walking to the office to return my key as requested. But the man from the front ran up to me without even making it halfway through the parking lot and demanded my key. I gave it to him. He immediately swiftly went to my room and was looking around before I even got to sit in my car.
There’s no coffee in the room or offered at all. It was obvious the room hadn’t been dusted in at least a year. The walls had black. The bed felt wet. The stains were obvious. The ceilings are not favorable for anyone over 5’5

Small dirty room with hard bed and tiny smelly bathroom. On a busy loud street and owner is nasty and rude. Avoid this dump at all costs.

This is exactly what you'd expect for the cheapest hotel room in Napa. We booked for the free breakfast (Napa is $$$, gotta save where ya can) and were rudely informed that there would be no breakfast, without any explanation, and had the window slammed shut. Next time I'll spend a few more dollars and stay somewhere with a bed that was purchased in the last 20 years.

Don’t pay for it before you see or smell your room! They kept our money but it was too nasty to stay there. Photos are very misleading. Cheaper and nicer at the Hampton Inn.

No ice machine that works no coffee no shampoo yeah zero stars for me and no smoking which but I smoke pot and I they don't want me to smoke pot in the parking lot either so zero Stars maybe at least fix the ice machine maybe give out coffee maybe shampoo

He sold our room after it had been confirmed on booking.com, without any notification. When we arrived to check in around 10pm and an hour and a half away from home… you can imagine the disappointment. Although he did at least make an “effort” to lie by saying he tried to call me but my phone wasn’t working. Just don’t expect any customer service and you’ll probably love it
