Nara Sushi, Dublin CA

A hidden gem of the area. Honestly a lot better than most places on the peninsula. Very friendly and attentive staff, food came out very quick. The place is small but beautiful inside. Everything was as genuine and authentic as you could get.

Came here as a date with my wife! All the rolls were delicious and fresh! It wasn't super busy when we went which I don't get, this place is definitely worth the drive and it should be packed due to the amazing service and good food.

The sushi here was very good and at a good price compared to some of the other places in the area. Beyond that I wanted to write a review for them because their customer service was above and beyond in my opinion and would have given them 10 stars if it was an option. We ordered appetizers and when our sushi came out we didn't have much more room on the table. Without asking our server brought over the table next to us so we had more room. At the end we forgot our to-go box and they ran out to flag us down and bring it. These days service lacks in many places and I thought they were friendly and thoughtful. I will be back again.

The most amazing restaurant I have ever seen. It looks so ordinary when u just pass. I decided to enter in the shop to see. Wow what an amazing warm welcome with a bright smile from the waitresses. I ordered vegetable upon for dinning in. That was the best of the dishes to me. I'm addicted to eat that everyday form that shop and it's very nice. You can try it as well and testify. NOT just the best taste but also the cheap price. The prices are affordable

The food was delicious and the frequent tea refills made the meal! Great service and wide variety on the menu.

Came with friends and super enjoyed the food and the service. The menu was sooo detailed. First restaurant that I have ever been lists all the ingredients by inside and outside. Food is super tasty and served very fast. Will come back for sure

Revising my earlier rating because it seems like the management has changed and they just don't have enough people to service. Good sushi but horrible service. 25m wait before the server showed up to take the order. Forgot tea. Served people who arrived after us while we kept waiting.

Yakitori west has changed owner. No more skewers. Typical japanese food choices but honestly not as fresh as before. Hopefully as more ppl come can improve that.

Don't come here unless you're white or Asian, Litteraly saw everyone else in place get served up a 5 course meal before I even got an appetizer. I almost walked out they took so long.

Chef Kim is awesome, he has over 10 years sushi experience and always give the best of what he has.

Can the service be improved? Of course. Can they have thicker pieces of sashimi if you order a $100 platter? Sure! If you order a soft shell crab roll, shouldn't the entire roll contain crab? Well, duh! I won't be back.

We came here for a company get together meal! The sushi is fresh and the owner is very welcoming! Super excited to find out this restaurant and we will be back soon.

I ordered 3 lunch bento boxes to go. The food was very over cooked. The tempura skin did not look nor taste right, greasy and extremely hard. The salmon sashimi looked like washed with hot water, not smelled fresh. The beef teriyaki was shredded thin beef,: (I will not go there again.

Huge portions! Great value. I had a craving for sushi and saw there was a new casual Japanese restaurant in Dublin with great reviews so wanted to check it out.

They have a broad range on their menu, from your classic sushi and bento boxes to udon and yakitori. I even spotted spicy tuna nachos on their menu (will try that next time). The menu had all my Japanese favorites in one spot, like takoyaki and katsu curry.

I tried the Hamachi kama (~$17), the Halloween roll (~$15), beef teriyaki and CA roll combination dinner (~$18). The yellowtail collar came out fairly quickly (normally it takes 20 mins) so my guess is that they pre-broil it and torch it upon order for speedier service. I thought everything tasted decent. It's not a fancy place so I wasn't expecting anything to wow me. I'd definitely eat here again.

Another bonus is that the restaurant is super clean and service was friendly. There was no wait and the food came out fast. A great spot to go to for a quick and filling meal!

My favorite place since it was Yakitori West. Current menu is good as well. Quality of sashimi is good and reasonable. I enjoyed UNI it was the best one I’ve ever had in US
