10Horrible workers. They shut the door at 3: 58 two minutes before closing time on a Saturday so my family was left with no funds for the weekend.
They said they would give us a loan for a house and it would take a month. So we sold our house and matched up closing dates to our new house. A month later they said they were sorry but they are too busy and it will be another month. We just sold our house and can no longer pay the people whose house we are supposed to be buying (We are on contract.) Looks like we are homeless until the loan goes through.in a month.unless they are still busy.now.what to do with all our furniture that was supposed to be moved to the new house.

Love NavyFed and have been a customer since day 1 of boot camp. Currently setting up an account for my gf and their interest rates are almost double than Bank of America. Going to be a customer for life.
Horrible service by A woman named ZONA she gave me trouble with my check because I was of a different skin color! Decided to go to a different navy fed in Grossmont and no troubles there. First and last time going to the one in Santee.
Slooowwwww service. During a slow morning shift it took an over an hour to wait to do a money transfer. 2nd in line. Not enough staff on to service customers.
Had to cash a check here once and the staff was super friendly. There was a really long line but it was also a Saturday morning
Originally I opened a savings account to save some money by creating a saving account for my child's future.good idea but bad choice of bank. My account has been opened for 4 months now and 4 months too long, I will be closing it on within a few days and I can't wait to do so.
If your looking for a "basic bank, " you will be okay with Navy Fed.as for myself, I don't like the BS from Navy Fed terrible customer services, hassles, unreasonable bank fees, etc. Only good thing I can say is that their financial rates for loans are nice.
Called to see if I could get a phone number so I could call and find out if the coin counter was working in Santee. Sorry they don't have direct numbers to thst or any office What good are they no good at all
Don't expect you will be able to call your local bank, you will always be routed to a national number. Like the post office, they want you to wait in line, seldom do they have enough people on hand to prevent long lines. Unlike a real bank they are not equipped to support business services. If all you need is a place to have your paycheck sent they're not bad, but even at that I would look at USAA.
