NC Boardshop reviews
16Super nice and helpful people working here. Went here during COVID and they had a nice setup where a lot of the boards and goods were on display, but you can shop safely from outside. Melissa helped me out and brought me all the 51/52 mm wheels for me to choose from. Good inventory, good people.
Flawless experience. I drive 20 minutes here bypassing half a dozen other skate shops because these guys actually answer the phone
I went by and an employee showed me the boards they had from inside the shop. They opened some double doors on the side and I could see all the boards.
Really helpful with getting back into skating with my son. I hadn’t been on a board in 15 years and picking one out for my kid to get started was really helpful. Great shop. Support your local businesses!
Cool place, their decks last really long, as in the ones that say nc on them. They are hard to s=chip and hard to break. Besides that, cool shop
Hands down the best inventory and most helpful staff in the area. This shop has served all of my needs for my 3 kids for 15 years. I've never had a need to shop anywhere else.
Always mellow and helpful here. Good clothing and shoes for casual or skate wear. Bought some skate and scooter gear here too - got useful advice and guidance. Kudos on the tropical fish tank.
People their are welcoming and happy to talk to you. I got my second cruiser board. A Landyachtz Ditch Life. I would highly recomend going there
Grate staff but my scooter keeps making noise that I tried to fix multiple times but nothing worked
Very helpful came in looking for specific items and they helped me very fast. Would come here again.
Amazing shop and amazing staff. I lost a piece immediately after buying it and the owner said it was no problem to come back and get another at no charge.not necessarily the cheapest options all around, but the surfboards are at a great price.amazing selection all around.i typically shop in santa cruz, but the trip over the hill is worth it.i'm definitely a customer for life!
This is a great shop. They have a large variety of products, on top of being very knowledgable. I have bought 2 complete boards, shoes, and wheels from them now, and each time they have really informed me and took the time to make sure I was making a decision I'd be happy with. This is definitely my go to shop even though it's a bit far from my house.
I used to spend a lot of time in the late 1990s hanging out in the shop, buying boards and clothing. Everyone always treated me and my friends like family. Great neighborhood skate shop. Glad to see them thriving in their new-ish location.
Friendly and helpful staff. The store has a wide selection and usually beats out the online guys (Skatewarehouse, Tactics, etc) in pricing. Just wish they carried New Balance Numeric shoes so that I could buy locally from these guys.
What a rip off, only a few pairs of my size, and the rest of the shoes were substandard at best, everything was overpriced
I've been coming here for a few months. Wish I'd have been coming here for everything before.
They have a great selection of decks. Blanks, shop decks, special Pro boards from Welcome, Deathwish, Birdhouse, etc. All types of wheels and trucks and hardware and grip.
Their prices, although located in Los Gatos, are actually really reasonable. And for the convenience, locality, it's always worth getting my stuff here. Yeah I can get Bones wheels for $5 cheaper online, but I can come here and support my local shop instead.
Never had a bad experience here. Never got upsold or berated, always had great conversations. Clerks really make an effort to know how you skate so they can get a sense of what you're shopping for.
Goodbye Amazon, CCS, SkateWarehouse, etc. If I ever need anything for a board I ain't going anywhere but here.
