I just had the rudest interaction with someone who did not give me her name, just that she was from.neighbrhood health care. Would not let me finish awncering the questions she asked before she would very rudely interrupt me. Not a way to make patient reltionships.

Made an appointment online for a covid vaccination couple of weeks ago. Got there on the schedule day (on time). Reception checked me in and I wait. About 35 mins pass and they let me know they don't have the vaccine available and I need to reschedule. Time wasted.

My first physical in over 10 years and I’m happy with this facility, nurse and Doctors were very good giving me all the information I needed for my Health.

1st time patient here. I came in without an appointment for a bad stye I've had for well over a year. I was able to see a nurse and even the doctor came in to check on me!:) everyone was kind and listened to whats been going on and even though they were not able to fix my stye they referred me to an optimologist and got me the right care. Thanks guys!

The worst service with the front staff, I don't know if they don't like it or if they don't know their job. They don't know how to give you answers. You get tired of appointments. They are very haughty. They look at you ugly, especially at the Hispanic community. Personally, Jenny Hernández is the rudest woman. Leave me waiting as long as I can. He has hung up on my appointment calls and not only me, there are many people here in Poway who use this service. In my family there are 6 members of which I am already looking for a place to move for better care. I do not recommend it. This is rubbish, you need professional people with good customer service!

Had an appointment scheduled for my mom for 3/22 at 9.30 am with Dr Kaur. Received a text message to confirm an appointment, and I did. Received confirmation text. On the 21rst I received another text with another appointment scheduled for the 23rd now at 2 pm. I was surprised, as I never scheduled anything for that day and canceled that appointment. I had to take a day of on the 22nd to take my mom as we've scheduled it ahead so I can arrange everything. Arrived 15 minutes earlier as they've required and figured out that our appointment they actually rescheduled for 23rd! Nobody called us to discuss our options for rescheduling. And i never received a text as well about cancelation or reschedule. They messed up whole day for me for nothing! That's ridiculous and totally unprofessional! You cannot just reschedule an appointment and set it up when you want it and not even calling a customer to discuss that! Horrible!

I would literally rather die than ever seek help from neighborhood healthcare in Poway. I waited 2 months for my appointment with Williams for it to be 16 minutes late and a 14 minute phone call and tell me to get help from my school department. Do not waste your time even thinking of getting any help from here. Just try calling them and see their phone system and that should give you an idea of how bad the whole system is. I got a call today that my therapist won’t be able to call me because of their billing system and how it’s not working for them. Their first priority is their money which is fine for them but to cancel appointments that were set up months ago because their system is not billing it is unacceptable. Let me know if I’m a crazy person over here being petty. I don’t think you’d be happy with how they treat their patients. Honestly enough is enough, I am reaching out to the health department of county to stop this clinic from ruining patients lives. (2021)

Update!
Neighborhood healthcare clearly do not care about your health. Their number one priority is to get paid first. They simply won’t pay attention to what you have to say. I am not a doctor but, would like to share some helpful advice. I no longer have ADHD and depression. I overcame these conditions by helping myself! Nobody cares about you but you!

If you have ADHD, you need to understand that you are a unique individual that cannot focus on irrelevant and unimportant stuff being forced into your brain. You want to learn and focus on learning good things, not the bad stuff being forced into your brain. You are capable of paying attention to what I’m saying which should give you an idea. You are right, do not allow the bad ideas to get into your brain. Please do not force your brain to accept false ideas by taking C2 prescriptions.

If you’re depressed, try and fix your problems one at a time. Taking prescription medications will shield your problems not fix them and will make you feel worse in the long term. You are depressed because you have problems you need to fix. I laid down my problems, I was very realistic to myself and worked on fixing them one at a time day by day.

I hope you feel better, you can be perfectly fine when you fix yourself. (2023)

I have been to this office three times trying to obtain a simple after visit summary with diagnostic information or visit notes. When I first arrived, the PSR at the front informed me that only an MA could print that documentation. I’m a CMA who currently works in healthcare administration. When I tell you that this is the least effective, worst customer service I have ever received at a healthcare facility, I am not joking-and I used to have to request documents from La maestra occasionally. If you need something done, you are better off sending a carrier pigeon. The people at the front look at you like they can’t understand and it often takes multiple different staff members working together to accomplish simple things. Would not recommend unless you have the patience of Job and a LOT of time on your hands

Pro: They gave me a steroid injection for cystic acne, which would be expensive at the Dermatologist office.

Con: During coronavirus I needed to see a psychiatrist and the lady rushed the call and then referred me to a low income dentist. And the administration could not understand what I needed when I complained and continued to refer me to a low income dentist when I already use one of the best dentists in the state.

I had the first morning appointment with Amanda Caparso DO for a physical.
I was not seen until 9: 15 AM and when she finally came in she was only in there for about 5 minutes. I was very taken aback when she questioned why I was requesting the TDAP vaccine, even after I explained that I hadn’t had it in over 10 years and I work in healthcare directly with patients.
Throughout the visit, she continued saying that I should’ve just been scheduled with the nurses for my vaccines.
The wait time seemed really unacceptable considering that I had the first appointment of the day and I was not a complex patient. Two stars because I did manage to get what I went for- vaccines and labs. But I would not want to see Dr. Caparso again.

Update 11/8/22. Received a call from a rude staff member today to let me know that my appointment for a physical was being cancelled tomorrow because it was not with my PCP. I let them know that it didn’t matter to me who it was with, I just wanted routine labs. They said they it had to be with my PCP. What a joke. I would understand if I was a complex patient with chronic conditions but I am not. Last year my “PCP” said they should just have made my visit a nurse visit so I wasn’t really inclined to see her again. A FQHC should not be blocking access to care but here we are.

I dont care how understaffed or tired you are, when a patient says no to an apointment honor that do Not act like someone has done you wrong. The rude phone call i recived 15 min ago from Alex left me fumeing. Worst patient treatment ever.

The worst healthcare location more than a year ago I selected this location as a primary until now no appointment for my check up. I called multiple times all they were saying doctors only accept zoom appointment and currently all appointments are full call us later.
The county must take their licenses.
Never select this place as a primary.
