Neiman Marcus, Palo Alto CA

Well.the only reason I went there that day was to visit the cafe. It is, of course, not as fancy as the Rotunda in San Francisco, but they give you a complimentary brioche and consome which makes the whole difference. Don't miss this place!

I would give 0 score to this store if I could. Staff are extremely rude and not helpful at all. They became angry when I am trying to use the incircle rewards gift card which they believe I cannot spend enough money here. Will not come here anymore!

This is the worst department store in the country! I placed an order from Neiman Marcus online three days ago and it is showing one of the items is processed at this store. However, today we were told that they cancelled my order and sold this item to someone else. Instead of whoever comes first to get the item, they decided to sold at a higher price at store in order to make more money! I cannot believe this is how Neiman Marcus handle their orders. Besides, their gift card promotion event is completely scam! We never receive their promotional gift cards which they promised. We will not shop here anymore! Bloomingdale’s and Saks are much better!

Horrible experience with N&M. Made purchase beg.of Dec and asked to ship it ASAP because it was birthday gift for someone special.it's been 3 weeks and no sign of my purchase. There is no communication as well. I have called multiple times and sales rep was hang up on me. I am never going back to N&M for shopping. Very disappointed with entire experience.

They offer quick in-store order return service. There are plenty of parking spaces nearby.

Great options for either higher scale items or mid range choices. Sophisticated style. Wish they had stores near m.

I wish I could give more stars for the exceptional service I received today! Sometimes it can be daunting to go into a department store as you can often encounter snooty associates who make you feel less than or out of place. This was definitely not the case today!

Joseph from salon shoes was extremely friendly and patient while I tried on louboutins in each of the different color options. When I was having difficulty figuring out which color to go for, his opinion was extremely helpful! Thank you Joseph for helping me find the perfect pair of loubies for the fall!

When I moved on to handbags, Dolores was also extremely friendly, patient, and attentive while I tried to way my options between two different colored YSL bags. When I asked if a different color combination was available (black with gold hardware) she said it was not currently in store, but she would be more than happy to order it. I ended up going with one of the styles I found in store, and really appreciated her patience as we tried to pull up my new NM credit card account. I used to work at Nordstroms and know firsthand how many sales associates can rush the checkout process so they can move on to the next customer and make more $. This was definitely not the case and I felt like a valued client.

The sweet woman in the mint blazer (I believe she was the manager on duty) was also phenomenal!

Overall, I think I'll be converting from Nordstroms to Neimans. This was truly a 10/10 experience

I go for lunch. It's the only local cafe I know where I can find right-sized portions of good quality ingredients without all the excess. This is where I'm jealous of all the luncheon ladies that already know this. The true benefit of lunching at the NM Cafe is the setting, not frilly but modern with clean lines. The staff could use a bit more refinement, but I also appreciate their casual approach. I'm not understanding the orange "souffle, " but otherwise a fully pleasurable moment's break in the day.

Leonard in the Men’s department went over and beyond to assistant and accommodate me despite the challenges he was faced with being short staffed. I strong recommend you shop with him because he’s very passionate and enthusiastic in his work place. He managed several situations with easy and delegated his work load. I worked in luxury retail as a store manager for several years and would love someone with his work ethic and attitude. I will specifically be requesting his services when I shop in the Palo Alto location.

This review is for their alternation service which is absolute the worst! Bring three slacks (over $2000 value) for them to do alternation and turns out the work is a disaster. Fit is terrible and length of two legs are not the same! The lady who did alternation claims to be their best tailor which I believe knows nothing about alternation. You can literally go to any tailor store on street to get a better work done. If not her skill or ability, then it must be this store never take customer’s alternation need seriously.

I met my wife there after she got tired out from shopping, very nice store, she likes it: not too busy, things easy to find

The most awful customer experience that i ever had. They told me that my online order could not be filled even though their online communication stared otherwise. Had to call customer support that called the store and all of the sudden my order was magically filled. When i arrived to pick it up and parked at pick up spot, they forced me to come in because apparently they dont deliver outside of the store and when i received my order, it was missing 1 out of 2 items that i ordered. Never going there again and its quite clear why with this customer service, Neiman had to file for bankruptcy.

Really happy with the service and how they helped me purchase the fragrance I desired. Will but from here again

Personalized shopping at your convenience at the Stanford Shopping Center and I love the fashion ideas and concepts NM seems to not disappoint on. I mainly want to share the personal shopping option provided for the stylish critique from an expert designer to assist with a touch of vision you may not see alone. Two heads is always better than one! Yes naturally this is a high end store, but for the conditions and the atmosphere being granted by the best designers you can find, this is a benefitical store to entrust your money is well spent and you are the primary focus that Neiman Marcus will bend over backwards for.
