6The rail bus ride was very memorable. Love the passion from all the volunteers.
We’ve gone here a few times now and cannot say enough about how wonderful a museum it is to have in Nevada County. We’ve brought family and each time we get basically a private tour from enthusiastic volunteers. The train bus ride is a treat and the exhibits and restoration work are fascinating. If you’re a train enthusiast take the time to chat with the volunteers. They are a wealth of knowledge and worry generous with their time! Don’t forget to donate!
Wonderful place to see restored and being restored trains. Fun little ride on a rail car also. Beautiful museum with cool displays.
Great museum. The GVNGRR was the heartbeat of Grass Valley and Nevada City.
The ride on the narrow+guage train is a must. Lots of track-switching, old equipment and scenery, and a good tour-guide, too.
A nice blast back to the past. Very informative. Bob Bartley showed us a great time.
