New Lun Ting Cafe reviews
9I think we had the booth right after Synne, and echo what he said. Order what she recommends, especially the beef stew. Phenomenal!
This was absolutely fantastic. Very good food and super service. Order exactly what the waiter recommends.
When we stumbled onto this restaurant we were hungry for lunch and the restaurant seemed like the most inviting one. We sit down and immediately realize this was going to be incredibly authentic (I think we might have been the only tourists) and the menu was extensive we all found something that appealed to us. What came out was incredible the marinaded pork chops I had were huge! The vegetables were a nice consistency and the soup was delicious. What a great place and if I get back to San Francisco I will not hesitate to go back and try more of the menu.
Roast pork with gravy.that's all you need to know.oh and the pot stickers. Service can be slow, but they try hard.
Family run business. Food is simple and very good. I had the roast pork and rice plate. Soup, dumpling appetizer, and tea accompany the food.
I started with dumpling. It was the best dumpling I ever had! The right amount of ginger to match the perfect savory of the pork and scallion filling. Wrapping had a nice crunch outside and al dente underneath.
Roast pork was tender and juicy. Wonderful sauce covering the pork.
It is not a fancy restaurant. It has a feeling of home charm when tasting the food. Delicious.
I forgot to mention. That was a lot of roast pork for the price! I had to box the rest of my lunch for later.
Really good food from this small restaurant in Chinatown SF. We had beef fried rice and Kung Pao chicken. Both dishes were delicious. We were given some soup and a complimentary pot sticker prior to our meal. Place is very small and doesn't have a great ambiance, but food and service were on point. A touch pricey as well.
Received absolutely fantastic service here, including service of complementary tea, appetizers (soup and pork dumpling), and fruit after entrees. All of my food was fantastic as well—I ate every bite. Would highly recommend it to anyone.
If your here at this restaurant go for the Mince Beef & Raw Egg Over Rice It's 口的 Kěkǒu De Delicious
Stopped here for lunch while visiting Chinatown based on a review I read online. We were not disappointed. First thing I noticed was that nearly all the customers were Chinese. Always a good sign. Second the menu wasn't your typical American Chinese food menu. No General Tso, no Orange Chicken. This menu has oxtail and tripe. We loved the dumplings. Meals each came with one, but my kids love them so we had a whole order of them. They were bigger than I'm used to. Flavorful, tender, and perfectly crisp on the pan seared side. We also ordered Chicken Udon and Roasted Pork with Gravy. The udon was amazing. Super flavorful. Everyone loved it. We ordered the pork because almost everyone who came in ordered the pork so we figured it must be amazing. It was good. Not spectacular but good. Very mild flavor. Very tender pork. The soup they brought before the meal was different, but good too. It wasn't your typical egg drop soup or hot and sour soup. It had apples and carrots and beans and I'm not sure what all. Seemed very homestyle.
