Newman Windows and Doors - Carlsbad

We were very pleased with our window installation. Our installers were Aaron and Colin. They were very professional, on time, had good communication skills and cleaned up perfectly after the install. We are enjoying the new windows very much and hope to purchase a few more windows in the future. Our salesperson, Rose, was also very helpful and answered our many questions thoroughly and thoughtfully. We definitely would recommend Newman Windows to anyone.

Newman put a retrofit sliding glass door in for me. Jesse & Michael did a great job. Workmanship was awesome. I'm so glad I had professionals from Newman put this door in. It turned out great!

Great product, great service. Their installers were customer oriented and experienced. I will use them again.

We had to replace 2 Window Screens in our MBR Widows. Maggie Barceneas in customer service took ownership of our request - worked with me to identify the correct Windows in our MBR, Ordered the 2 Screens from Milgard, scheduled for the installation of the 2 New Screens and called to find out how the installation went. Frank, the Installation Manager showed up right on time. He is a very friendly person, soft spoken and very easy to work with. He handled the work very cautiously and carefully, happily answered all the questions from my wife and I. He projects an excellent impression for Newman Windows and Doors Company. I highly recommend them and Milgard. We had our whole house windows and Patio Doors replaced by Newman with Milgard Windows. We are extremely happy and pleases with the quality of the windows, design and the lifetime warranty and parts and labor (one of the best in the industry!). Recently both our daughters had their windows replaced in their house by Newman with Milgard windows.

Cheers to Matt who scheduled us before the rain storm came Frank who initially showed up was very experienced, knowledgable as well as Dave who completed the job went out of his way to seal and caulk to prevent any moisture from coming inside. I would definitely recommend Newman windows and Doors! Great customer service with experienced technicians who are the experts at installation and follow up.thank you!

If I could give zero stars I would. The owner is extremely condescending and for that reason I would never do business with this company

Ridiculously overpriced!
They were very nice people and did a wonderful job. The problem is I paid about 10 times what a regular window costs. I built a house and spent less on a house full of windows than I did on three replacements. I would not ever use them again just because of the cost

I have no doubt that hiring Newman Windows and Doors for replacement of old windows was a right choice. All 20 windows and door were installed very professionally in two days. Company uses high quality Milgard windows. It provides comforts that we never experienced in our house with old windows.

The installers: Chris P.and James S were great. Both men were efficient, courteous and worked great as a team.

Windows and two sliders were replaced with the dual pane windows in my condo. Crew was professional and completed the work as promised.
My gate latch was inadvertently damaged and Newman repaired the latch and wall.

We have used Newman Windows in the past and they are our “go to” window company. We recently had them install 7 windows and the entire job was done perfectly. Highly recommend.

Me and our families have used Newman Windows over the years to have windows replaced in 4 houses and 2 condos. Always 5 star service and the quality of the windows are great. We just has the windows replaced in our rental condo yesterday, Dec. 19,2022 and all went smoothly. Nick S.and Charles W.were great. They kept the areas they were working around clean, they let us know what the procedure would be. I can not say enough about them and Neman windows. I am sure we will be using Newman Windows in the future. Thank you for another job well done.

I’m extremely satisfied with the replacement sliding glass patio doors just installed. Sales, product and installation, all excellent. Pricing was reasonable. I definitely recommend this firm.

I have used Newman windows over 20 years. They’ve done our rentals and they’ve helped on our remodel of our home. They will always take care of you, very dependable.

I have mixed feelings about the job. On the one hand, the Stucco guys, Greg A.and Ryan S were amazing. They were not only super professional and highly courteous, they also went above and beyond, doing a couple of extra things that were outside the scope of their responsibilities. When I asked questions about how things worked, they answered thoroughly and taught me many things. It was really great.

On the corporate side of things, there was something left to be desired. The salesman advertised the job as a two-step process: (1) The doors/windows would be installed and then (2) the stucco and interior finishing work would be done. Hoo boy was that not the case.

After having the door and window installed, I had to wait for two weeks before they scheduled a crew to come out and do the flashing. After over a week went by with no word from Newman, I had to call to get them to schedule a crew to do the pre-stucco cementing work. Then, another week+ went by and I had to call again to get them to send someone in to do the interior finishing work. That crew showed up unannounced and 90 minutes late and installed the wrong size interior finishing (not their fault; they were given the wrong size by corporate). The final result looked really awful. I had to wait another week+ before a second crew came out to redo the work. Finally, the (awesome) stucco crew came out to finish the stucco work yesterday.

All in all, it was not a two-step process. We had to make arrangements SIX TIMES for work crews to come out to complete a door+window installation job and we had to constantly contact Newman Windows and Doors to get them to continue and eventually finish the job. I totally understand supply chain issues, worker shortages and all that but corporate really needs to improve their customer relations and communication so customers don't feel like they have to keep pinging corporate to schedule crews to finish a contracted job.

Irving, Marco and Frank did a fantastic job of installing the windows. They were on time and did exactly what they said they would do. Very thorough. Very professional. Great job all the way around.

The crew who came out to do my window and screen installation for my lower rental unit were ON TIME! (important to me). They were efficicient, knowledgeable & answered all my questions respectfully. Big shout out to Nick S.and James T. This is my 3rd time having windows installed by Newman. I'm not done yet completing the rest of the windows that need replacing, but when I am ready to do more, I will not call anyone else.
