We had a maintenance request (actually about 3 requests in one) to which Jesus came to assist us. What I appreciate the most is how he remembers my family just from being around the community. He is very thorough and educational. He completed all three tasks efficiently. I appreciate also how he helps us to properly maintain what he fixed. He always go above and beyond! Thank you Jesus!

My bathroom light broke a week ago and Juan from maintenance came right away to fix it! He’s a very friendly and encouraging guy. Quality of service and repair is top tier!

I put up my lost cat posters up on the laundry window and some other places and they were all torn down within a day.

A community with pros and cons, but definitely be careful when you are choosing this place. Some pros and cons:

Pros:
- nice amenities
- lots of greenery
- most maintenance requests are completed in <3 days
- has a shopping plaza nearby, soccer fields, dog friendly

Cons (be careful!) :
- close to highway and high power lines, noise and EMF pollution
- cheap building materials such as windows, poor insulation
- walking around, I found lots of units have bad orientation (e.g. My unit faces north), 0 to very limited sunshine in the room, dark and cold
- though the maintenance staff are nice, the service team (those responding to emails and phone calls) cannot care less, they don't offer any solution nor consultation, I guess they have a KPI of email response rate, as long as they responded and dismissed your issue they get their job done.

Overall, if you get a cheaper rent deal and a good unit, it could be a good community, otherwise if an expensive rent too, I suggest it's not worth it.

I had a few service requests that needed to be completed and Juan at Newport North was extremely helpful. He showed up right at 2 pm, assessed my concerns and got to work. He took his time to make sure that everything was done properly and was functioning correctly before he left. He also had to swap out some materials, and made sure that I had the proper hardware so that I would not have any repeat issues.
He was friendly and professional.
I would rate his service at a 10/10.

Sewage is full of roaches. You can easily see them around manhole covers. They also often come inside (through the pipe I guess). Maintenance staffs are very nice.

I had quite a few maintenance requests and Juan came and fixed it all quickly and so well. He was very kind, and was able to help us with a couple other things too that we didn’t think about (ex: air filter) overall an amazing experience. Would 10/10 recommend.

Newport North is a great place to live. The maintenance crew always take care of fixing any appliance issues quickly and efficiently while maintaining a polite and courteous demeanor. Juan stopped by earlier and fixed our broken ice machine in our freezer and went out of his way to explain to me what the problems were and how he was fixing them. A true class act.
