Nicely's Restaurant, Lee Vining CA

We went to Nicely's for dinner and breakfast. The food is really tasty and typically American style. Price/performance fits. A snack bar in Lee Vining to recommend.

The restaurant was about 1/3rd full but they were still clearly understaffed for that and most importantly, despite that, they should have at least come over to apologize for the fact that I was waiting at least 20 min and not a single staff came over. But nothing.

I just got up and left. I went to latte da cafe down the street and that was fantastic.

We had fried chicken, fish and chips, a hamburger and ceaser's salad. Not a single dish was better than OK. Bill came with an 18% service charged which was charged over the taxable amount - never had this done at any US restaurant. There seem yo be better places in town.

Stopped at Nicely's last Sunday morning for breakfast on way to Owen's River. Excellent breakfast, especially the hashbrowns and sourdough toast. Good service

We were so happy we stopped here for a bite to eat. Food was great, restaurant was clean, service was great. Hard to find places like this nowadays!

Waitress was kind of rude but the meat loaf made up for that, vgave been a lil bigger though.

Excellent service in this nice cosy diner. Stopped in en route to Yosemite, I got the Hot roast beef sandwich with gravy and mash potatoes which were delightful, the best mash potatoes I have had.

Old fashioned coffee shop type restaurant, the food is good, the place is clean, and the staff is friendly.

Good breakfast today, had the pancake sandwich, food was good, staff is always friendly, restaurant was clean.

We arrived around 8pm to get rest after a long day in Yosemite the only place open on Monday was this place, we asked a breadcake, a chocolate and new York steak sandwich… we didn’t like them at all and the thing was we had to eat it because is that or nothing. The five stars here was the service what lovely people do nice and friendly

Server was slow to take our order and food took forever to arrive but it was tasty. We were there around 5pm on a weekday, they were not busy. Half the building is an old school diner; a wall separates the other half of the building which has a bar & pool table.

It is an American restaurant. Food wasn't bad. It's good to have a meal before entering Tioga pass.

I loved this place. Has a very old timey diner feel. Good food, good portions, and nice staff. We had dinner and then went back for breakfast. Blueberry pancakes were super yummy.

Great food but the guests that go there just stair at u like u don't belong but the worker are awsome and helpful

Food was slop. Eggs Benedict was swimming in disgusting hollondaise. Scrambled eggs not even mixed and cooked to hell. Service fine but the breakfast was utter trash. Worst meal I think I've ever had

This place is spot on! Exactly what you want from a classic diner. Service was quick, food was good, and the atmosphere felt very classic. I had the cheeseburger and my partner had the turkey club and we both throughly enjoyed our food. Split the bread pudding and it is TO DIE FOR!

We will be back!

We got in late and it was the only option around Mono Lake. Went in with no expectations but it was honestly great food and service.

Great vegetarian options too!
