Nick the Greek reviews
14If you’ve ever had authentic greek food, then this place will be mediocre at best. The pita really isn’t pita and neither is the tzatziki, but food is overall ok, and the orders came pretty fast.
For what a bit of chicken with rice plug bread and salad worth $18? A got-chu establishment, that's what this place is.
I ordered a gyro and Greek fries with garlic and feta. The fries were cold. If I had time to return them, I definitely would’ve, but I couldn’t. There is nothing worse than cold french fries I mean they were not even warm.
Delicious food, and I appreciated being able to upgrading my meal's drink to an alcoholic beverage.
Nice place, the food is a fresh and "healthier" fast food alternative. It's also made me crave going back for more.
Nick the Greek gyro god saved my life with his amazing food. I just ate some of the best food of my life. Thankful to be here.
Food was great, but tasted like they dumped an entire container of garlic salt on top of the fries. It was so intense that my husband and I were tasting garlic for two days would not recommend the fries.
Amazing value, very nice staff.
I had the gyros wrap And it was incredible and filling for a very fair price. I will make sure to eat here again next time I’m in the area.
Highly recommend!
The lamb gyro and the fries were very flavorful, but cold. I thought it was overpriced for the quality of food.
I’m only a couple a minutes away, but nothing was even warm by the time I got to it. I did get there right before closing, but waited over 5 mins so I thought they would at least give me fresh fries… wrong.
I definitely would not go back or recommend, but it might be better during rush hour.
Nice choices of gyro and pita breads, salads, and drinks. A little pricey but that's normal in Santa Cruz.
The food was not good. Meat was barely warm and looked like it came out of a plastic bag. Not a fan of the taste overall. This isn't my first or second gyro, was expecting a better overall dish.
Front desk Personnel was very professional and the young lady at the front was lovely five Stars
This was my first time at Nicks. I ordered the chicken bowl. Everything was good and fresh except the star ingredient. The chicken. It was dry and sliced up in huge cold chunks. Lacked flavor. I would have preferred a grilled chicken breast. The girl who took my order was nice but the other guy that was behind the counter serving the food was super inattentive and was on his cell phone the entire time texting. It was hard to get his attention for assistance and he seemed bored and wasn't very pleasant. I would probably find another Greek restaurant over Nicks.
I love the vibe this place, from the cashier to the cook.
FOOD IS ON POINT TOO!
The place is very clean, for being how busy they are.
We are from out of town so it felt nice to connect with the cashier who was super nice.
If we come back here this will be a stop for sure!
