Niko Niko Sushi reviews
32 The sushi is great and rolls are big. Niko Niko roll is so delicious.
Also the staff and chefs are super nice.
This is a nice little sushi restaurant that I've always wanted to try.
When my daughter told me that she wanted sushi for dinner I did a search and Niko Niko came up. I ordered a bunch of ikura (7 orders) and other assorted sushi (chirashi, spider roll, tamago and unagi) as well as a teriyaki chicken dinner. This was all take out of course and everything was ready in about 25 minutes.
The sushi was decent and the price was what you'd expect. Not the freshest sushi but definitely hit the spot. My daughter and son inhaled the ikura. The chirashi has a good amount of fish but the rice portion was a bit small. The chicken teriyaki was over cooked and a bit dry. Flavor for the chicken was not the best and I would recommend sticking with the sushi.
The staff there was very friendly and made me feel welcome. That was memorable enough for me in this day of take out, masks, social distancing and Covid. I will definitely be going back there for more and look forward to having a sit down meal there.
I like this venue a lot.theres a nice spirit. The food is wonderful.the service is effective and the stuff is trained. The pay is satisfactory. I definitely recommend.
This place is amazing. I'm not a fan of handrolls - I prefer nigiri or sashimi, but if I wanted handrolls - I'd come here. It's simple, but is great quality. My favorite was the snow crab because it had a pleasant sweetness to it. Definitely recommend checking it out!
Best authentic Chinese restaurant, family owned mangolian beef is my favorite but almost everything tast delicious
Very nice ambiance with live guitar music and some lights on the courtyard. Amazing atmosphere and the food is great. A real hidden gem.
The most delicious sushi I've ever eaten. The service is impeccable. All around a wonderful place.
THis place is a little gem of a find. The sushi is excellent. The Uni was so smooth. I had chefs choice and it was lovely. The inside is eclectic Japanese, comfortable. Our waitress was very sweet. Gordon dessert we hat ice cream. I had the green tea. It came as a pop of sorts. The outside was frozen jelly, and inside was the green tea ice cream. So good.
I have never been here before. I really wanted sushi and it was late in the evening. I ordered to be picked up I still waited 15 minutes and there was only one other couple in the entire restaurant at that time. And the sushi roll was only so-so.
Used to be a decent strip mall sushi place.they seem to have gone downhill. Even the rice is now bad.
Great sushi restaurant. Nice and pleasant staff with one of the best sushi chef in LA. Do not miss to visit.
My first time eating here. I ordered a rainbow roll and a shrimp roll. I requested extra eel sauce and napkins. I was given one small container the size of a quarter and ONE napkin. If they are this frugal with sauce and paper products I seriously question the quality of their fish. I’ll stick with The Ugly Roll from now on.
Teriyaki chicken plate came up to 15 something it was not filling nor good it was very plain. If I would've know I would've went to Oki dog on pico cheaper plate, fresh and, tastey for less. I wouldn't come back here. The ladies that work there are rude too.
We love Niko Niko! We've been customers since 2012. The fish is always so fresh and the staff are super friendly.
Fresh tasting sushi with some very good daily specials. The location doesn't say "hey.there is probably a good restaurant next to the cleaners and parking lot locksmith", but don't let the setting fool you. Talented sushi chef, good fish, and friendly welcoming service. Communication in English isn't always the best, but it adds to the authenticity. Been here about 10 times and always happy with the decision.
They also have some good happy hour options.
All sushi tastes the same. Flavors are flat, so the fish is not the freshest. Price is higher than the food quality.
In an area where there is sushi on every corner its tough to call anywhere "the best". This is just where I bring my family. Its local to me. Its fairly priced and has alot of choices. Its always good quality and sometimes great quality. It is always good quantity and sometimes great quantity.
All in all its a decent sushi place in an area wher there are alot of sushi joints.
A very solid local sushi joint. The fish is typically very fresh. I have got a few dishes in the past that felt a bit off but not enough to make me stop eating or feel sick. It is nothing fancy and the owners are very nice and have great service. Try the specials.
From the outside it looks kind of sketchy but once you're inside it's very nice. Sushi was great! I got the sunshine roll and the spider roll. Both of the rolls were great and the service was great!
The food here is delicious and fresh. No matter what I've ordered. It's always been consistently good. Been going there for 12 years! The staff are freindly and the owner and his wife are great people and hard workers.
Highly recommend.
