Noeteca Wine Bar reviews
17 When it fist opened, years ago.it was lovely.
Now it hurried, poor quality food.and TERRIBLE service
Quaint cafe/bar run by a very sweet man. Expect to enjoy a more leisurely meal with an expertly made espresso when you visit - just how I like it. Their brunch mimosas also have fresh squeezed juice which is unique. My salad was nice, but my group didn’t love their different flatbread/pizzas. Their dessert rustico was the showstopper mmmhmm. I’d definitely be back to try some more items and for the service, coffee and the Nutella dessert!
This place is amazing - Come here for the most delicious feijoada you’ll have. Its like eating home cooked food.highly recommended ️
My brunch started with a smoke salmon plate $15. They were out of bagels so they gave me ciabatta bread instead. I liked how the plate came out and how I got to assemble my own smoked salmon sandwich with arugula lettuce, capers, cream cheese, glazed pearl onions, lemon juice, olives and pecans. This tasted great. I wasn't quite full yet, so I got the salumi plate $22. This was OK, not great. It had coppa, prosciutto and salami for the meats. The sour stuff like pepperoncinis, pickles and olives I didn't care for. I wish there were roasted nuts on this charcuterie plate. Regardless, good times. There's outdoor sitting. Perfect if it is a nice day.
This place is fantastic. The service, the food, the atmosphere. Such a great find on my trip to San Francisco.
Great food, friendly staff, chill vibe. Highly recommend.
Noeteca was a far cry from the bustle of the usual SF restaurants we visit. It was on a quiet street corner and it felt like a neighborhood restaurant. The proprietor took time to ask us questions and answer ours. We will visit again!
Be careful their Brazilian food is addicting!
Really nice vibe during the lunch, and great place for a dinner (especially for date).
Please ask the owner for “Rustico” is one of the best dessert that I had!
Little gem hidden in Bernal Heights. Delicious food, excellent service, and a great ambience, without the 45-minute wait. Loved our little chat with Susan, the kind and energetic owner of this place for 17 years! Will be coming back for more!
This place is amazing! The food was delicious and I couldn't stop eating it, everything from the salad to the pizza to the baked brie to the special homemade dessert. The owner even brought out a cup of the daily soup for us to sample. My group of six had a lovely time and really enjoyed the cozy decor. I'll be back for more soon!
Go for the food AND the experience. The owner and the staff are super friendly and make the visit even more delightful
This was one of the last places open near us. We came in last minute, and they happily served us a massive pile of some of the best food I've had all year, and were extremely hospitable hosts! Cannot recommend this place enough!
You have to try the black bean soup! Absolutely excellent
Amazing! Went back three times. The owner was lovely and kind. The best food I had all week while staying in San Francisco for a conference. A wonderful, relaxed atmosphere with beautiful music in the background.
Went here a few nights ago with family and was treated to a truly delicious dinner. We started off with the Himalayan Momo - really tasty dumplings especially when dipped in the sauce along with Samosas and the Mismas Pakauda - a spinach dish with onion and spices. All served as a great prelude to our main courses of Poleko Khasi (lamb) and Poleko Kukhura (chicken) - that was served beautifully. Lamb especially is a tricky dish to prepare as many times the gamey taste is too obvious but this was not the case at all here.
It certainly doesn't disappoint. The most popular items seemed the be the combo of tandoori salmon, chicken and lamb (mismas poleko masu) and also the chicken in creamy spinach sauce (khakura ra palak). We ordered both of these and it seemed like everyone around us did too! They were incredible, and the momo are a great appetizer to start with (and a Nepali classic).
I waited for over 30 minutes to order food. I requested very politely 3 times to order. The owner told me if you can’t wait you can go to the nearby Indian restaurant!
Always a delight to be here. Finally had the feijoada which was delicious. The beef stroganoff was also very tasty. Can't wait to come back for the raclette but most importantly for the great service and ambiance.
The food is phenomenal I love coming here the service is fantastic. Small and quaint perfect for a romantic evening or first date it’s a personal space. The owner is really nice and he really goes above and beyond to show pride in his business and food and it shows. Highly recommend this SF gem.
