Nojo Ramen Tavern reviews
16 Legendarily good. Completely digital ordering, our friend joining us ordered on her way here. Food was wonderful, amazing stuff, go here its great.
(Only 1 veggie option)
Incredibly delicious - probably the best tori paitan I've had. The soup was creamy and rivalled the more famous tonkotsu, and the sprinkling of shallots helped cut through some of the richness. What might have made it better would be a small drop of chilli oil, or infusing the soy chicken with some ginger. Enjoyed the meal though, will be returning!
Vegetarian option was not good. One noted/ bland. Will say the service was very good! Prompt and helpful. Just the food left much to be desired.
My group ordered two 5pc gyoza and calamari. For our main dish, all of us ordered the Soy Sauce signature ramen. The dish had great tasting noodles and chicken with a delicious broth. I would recommend to others and will plan to come back. Parking was a little difficult, but it was expected.
The presentation is fantastic. I mean, look at it. That's a beautiful piece of food. I'm not used to chicken in a ramen; I never saw anything like it in Japan. But maybe it's common in some parts of Japan. The flavor was good, just a bit cumbersome to eat a whole chicken thigh in ramen. Service was great, although I'm not a fan of scanning a QR code and paying for it online. It takes effort to type in payment info, but maybe that's just how it is nowadays. Anyways, it was interesting to try for me.
We were looking for a restaurant in the neighborhood. Neither of us had been here before and it looked interesting. So glad that we decided to come here. We sat outside and even though it was a typical foggy night it was quite toasty under the heating lamp. We both ordered the Shio (salt) ramen with chicken meatballs. It was not too salty. I love the creamy broth. The shishito peppers were massive! It does get busy but the tables turnover quickly.
One star off cuz the portions were too small even for a tiny person like me. My bf and I finished the meal in 20 minutes. Appreciate the fast service tho and the option to just directly order and pay through QR code. Go early because they ran out of the main soy sauce ramen at 7 PM on a Sunday. Lines aren't too long. You can put yourself on the Yelp waitlist. I don't recommend the vege miso ramen because the broth is not as good. Inside is just corn, one piece of bokchoy, corn, some small pieces of meat. The soy sauce Paitan broth was good and rich. The meatballs were good as well to my bf who usually doesn't like meatballs.
This place was a fifteen minute walk from our hotel, we wanted some warm ramen for the cold day, the place is pretty small and absolutely adorable + the staff is so friendly and sweet.it was packed, we had to wait about 15-20 minutes but completely worth it, i came for the vegan ramen and it's delicious, super creamy, flavorful and so filling.i love the no contact system they have for ordering/paying and we were served our meals fast.
I had a very good experience. Workers are extremely friendly. The food was amazing. Best Ramen I have had. I highly recommend.
Wow! I am a huge ramen fan and I have to say that their Signature Ramen, Soy Sauce Tori Paitan, is top 3 of all time. Don't make the same mistake I made by ordering anything else. If you're the type to order different items with friends/ significant other so you can try everything, this is NOT the place to do it. I did that my first time and I just ended up sulking around until my girlfriend was full so I can clean up her remaining Soy Sauce Tori Paitan ramen.
Both indoor and outdoor sitting available. There can be a line to be seated, but the wait was never too bad. You order and pay for everything on your phone. The servers just bring you your order. If you are a ramen person, this is a MUST try. Again, do not order anything else but their Signature Ramen. Expect to pay $30-35 per person.
Nojo is cozy and has a great atmostphere. The staff are all really friendly and I can say, without a doubt, that I had the best Ramen in the US so far!
Great spot for a quick dinner before the symphony concert. Prices can be a little steep but not too surprising given the location. The broth was excellent. Chicken was a bit bland but overall a hearty meal and we’ll be back next time we are in the area!
My shoyu ramen with chicken leg was just OK & bit pricey. Spicy miso had a better flavored soup. The service was very good & staff was very friendly & accommodating.
We all had different dishes and they were amazing: I had the signature (chicken leg) dish, the other had the vegetarian dish, a spicy dish, all were great. Only thing that was a pity is that they don't have rice noodles so one of us with a gluten allergy had 3 starters instead of a dish - also very yummy, as well as the deserts. Very friendly staff, awesome place!
I had a great experience when dining here. I was greeted and brought to the table. There is a QR code on the table so that everyone can order on their own with their own credit cards or you can all order at once on your phone. If you are sensitive to spiciness, make sure you put the oil and chili on the side so you can control how spicy you want your meal. If you want to order an item for to-go, make sure you let someone know so that they don't accidentally plate it. They were so nice and attentive when water was low and when we accidentally dropped our chopsticks haha. Thank you for your great service Mojo Ramen team.
They are no good at delivery. Definitely don't try to schedule for later, they'll just make the food asap and let it sit out until it's picked up. Food arrived near the beginning of the delivery window, totally cold, which is unjustifiable at these prices. I figure I had a ~$40 value meal for $85. April 2020 moves in 2022. The chicken paitan and tomato ramen are great for dine-in though!
