Nonno Recovery California Sober Living

I had the pleasure of staying at the Nonno recovery house from July 20th to November. I had hit a bottom and needed some foundation to stand on, In order to return to my family! I had a great experience from the day I arrived till the day I left! With routine meetings and a bunch of sober friends I accomplished that goal! The house was just a place! It was the people and camaraderie that helped me reach my goals. Meetings are a great part too! If your looking for a safe and comfortable sober living environment, Nonno is the place! I was treated with great respect as I found my footing!

Great place! Affordable, ethical and transparent. I’ve seen many success stories come from here. Too many sober livings put business before recovery and community but they do not. Highly recommend above all for anyone who is looking for sober living in the South Bay.

Nonno truly saved my life. I am so grateful to have had an opportunity to go there. I came in at absolute rock bottom, 9 rehabs later and countless sober livings. I can tell you that this sober living is different then every other ones I’ve ever been to. Johnathan (the owner) really truly cares. He would always come by and check in with me and try and helped me move in a positive right direction. No matter what was going on in my life I knew I could call him and he would answer the phone to try and help. Within 6 months I had completed an outpatient program (he helped me get into), found a full time job and they even helped me get my credit back up to find my own apartment. I honestly don’t know where I’d be without you and the other staff members. Matt, Jared and KEVIN thank you for everything. Thank you for being positive role models for me to get my life back on track. Kevin and Johnathan has the biggest impact in my life I’ve ever had when dealing with staff at any facility I’ve been too. I can say if your looking for a sober living in the South Bay, there’s no better choice then Nonno. I can say that because I’ve gone to all the other ones. Some are just about the money, but Johnathan actually takes the time to invest in your life and help. Thank you again

I recommended a friend to go to Nono Recovery and they took him in with open arms. They have a great location that's close to the beach and have a large outreach to outside sober support. They have great price points for longer stays as well. I would highly recommend Nono Sober Living!

The owner Jon and the rest of the leadership is exceptional. They have a desire and care for truly helping people and have their whole hearts invested in their guests.

I felt compelled to write a review for Nonno Recovery and share what a wonderful experience I had here. 5 months ago I showed up on Jonathon's doorstep completely lost, severely addicted to multiple substances, and with multiple court cases looming over my head. I needed to make a change but I didnt know how or where to start. Jonathon and Nonno provided the foundation for me to begin my journey through sobriety. They helped me get actively involved in AA, find a sponsor, hold me accountable with alcohol and drug monitoring and provide a positive, safe, and fun atmosphere for my recovery. They treat you with respect and as long as you follow the rules (which are easy to do) and work your program then you will have a great experience here. Well today I'm 5 months sober, my court case has been resolved (Note; a letter from Jonathon about my participation at Nonno was a big factor in getting the charges reduced), I'm employed, and I moved into my own place in Manahattan Beach. None of this would've been possible had it not been for Jonothon, his staff (Jared, Kevin, and Merv) and all the guys in the house

Really helped my son in his recovery. Jonathon and Jared are great. They truly care about the patients which separates them from most other sober living establishments. Highly, highly recommend them.

When it comes to addiction, it can be extremely difficult to find simple, reliable, and trustworthy help for yourself or someone you love. Jonathon from Nonno is one of the most down to earth and earnestly recovery-minded people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. Not only does he keep a gorgeous sober living house but his genuinely caring nature and attentiveness to the principles of recovery make him my first referral to anyone I know that needs help staying clean and sober.

Nonno Recovery is great, the location was nice and the facility was quite lovely. John and the staff were very friendly and willing to work with my personal situation.

Nonno Recovery is a great place with a balance of structure to help newly sober men find a new way of living. John the owner really cares and goes above and beyond for all of his residents to be comfortable and help them in their sobriety anyway that he can.

I have personally been in and out of tons of recovery homes and treatment centers over the last ten years. Nonno offers some of the most comfortable living conditions anyone could ask for. (Full size Beds) The tools and outline for getting back on track with your life are made extremely available and you are in a truly safe environment unlike many places I had been to. I have known the owner Jon for well over 15 years and he has always gave 100% in whatever he sets out to do and you can immediately see that by speaking with him and visiting his homes. If you or someone you know is looking to turn their life around and could use a healthy environment to live in reach out to Jon.

I know Jon (the owner) personally and I am simply amazed by the Nonno Recovery California Sober Living! I remember when he brought up the idea of opening the sober living to me and I remember it's beginning stages. I believe that it is of paramount importance to be in a 12 step based sober living that is structured and has a goal for the residents to reach and maintain sobriety! This is that place! I whole heartedly recommend Nonno Recovery to anyone in the South Bay area that is transitioning to new beginnings and looking to achieve and maintain sobriety!

This is a great place for recovery! Jon is an outstanding member in the sober community and takes great care of the home and it’s occupants. The location alone is great and has a variety of recovery outlets and healthy lifestyle options.

Hello, I felt compelled to write a review for Nonno Recovery because is a great place to get clean and sober. I've known Jonathon the owner for a while now. He's a great guy and really helpful. He has created a really supportive environment at Nonno for guys trying to get sober. His staff there is excellent. The facilities are new and clean. I had the opportunity to meet one of the house managers (Mr. Matthew Mervis) and he was a delight to speak to and also very helpful and knowledgeable regarding recovery.
