The staff working here is super friendly and patient. I’m new to this hobby and I don’t know much about RC cars at all. But the staff very patiently and gladly showed me what they recommend based on the budget and needs I had told them. They had never try to upsell me anything or pressure me to buy it right off the bat. They patiently listened and answered all my questions with respect. Even though I didn’t buy anything from them yet, I still walked out with a very good impression and was very pleased. I intend to buy my first RC car from them very soon because of their excellent customer service.

Great place for the whole family. Staff knows their stuff and dont force a sale, they listen and will get you ready for racing/bashing on any budget.there's pit spots with power and a super groomed track with misting system.fellow racers are "family" and everybody helps everybody.the indoor track is dirt/clay groomed to perfection EDIT its now a carpet track.on Tuesdays they have a class for beginners called rookie boot camp where setup, etiquette etc.are discussed and practice race are run, no one cares if your 4 or 80 years old.their prices surprised me, lots of stuff are cheaper than the big internet stores.

Update 7-17-2020.: i visited recently and was positively surpriced on how they handle COVID-19, there's hand sanitizer, people are keeping their distance and masks are worn at all time.not only that but surfaces get wiped down frequently. Eric and employees are doing everything they can to follow the guide lines.

Track have switched from dirt to carpet, this is still offroad with jumps, table tops and all that good stuff, but now theres no dirt to clean off your car, and the track is super consistent.one of my favorite things is the fact they can move jumps and other features around easily, so the track layout can be changed easily and often, so theres something new to do and get better at.my kids and i will continue to visit this facility, its so much fun.

I've been a RC enthusiast for a long time! They have a wide selection of parts and kits. They have such an awesome test tracks indoors and out. I love see others race around.

They're all knowledgeable in remote control, it's one of my favorite places to go and check out all the time.

I've recommend this place to a lot of friends and family.

Another place that was super helpful and eager to answer my questions about drones will for sure return and maybe play around with some RC stuff.

Let me say of all the hobby shops around the Bay Area these guys are the best. They have every car and part you can think of. They'll spend the time to explain the car and upgrades needed. I took my little 4yr old there to get him started and he loves it there. Their Manager employee "Will" is super cool and friendly. My son always remembers him for setting him up with his 1st Rock Crawler. Their other employee Giovanni wow this kid knows everything about every part and truck. It's an amazing wealth of knowledge. I love this place but my wallet doesn't. Keep up the great work.

Great place for 10th scale rc. They have allit of parts for sale. They had a good price on genace batteries.

Very cool place to see races. Went there with a friend for a part. They have many parts but the race track was very cool to watch.

It has been several years since I ran my R. C.cars and was forgetful about the part I needed and a few technical issues. The guy working there was very knowledgeable and helpful. The location is large, and they have a great selection of new cars along with parts.

First, great store, awesome inventory. Will, the manager is a stand up guy. They got me the RIGHT part, earlier than expected, had them in their hand when they said yes they have them, unlike another store. I would most definitely recommend this store to others. Keep up the great service. You got me as a customer for life. Thanks guys

Definitely one of the best hobby shops in San Jose! I come here all the time to pick up more RC cars, they also have the best selection of parts out of any hobby shop in the area.

If you need something RC related this is the place to go! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The shop has a lot of product in stock and they will match any online price.

Fantastic staff, track, and great family activity for older kids & adults. Rented two large/robust trucks and had a ton of fun.

My first experience with Nor-Cal Hobbies, won me over. I walked in, knowing no one. I had an older Kyosho I was looking to repair so I could use it as a loaner car. I would be buying a new model in the very near future.

The fact that I was able to walk in, speak with a staff person who knew the position I was up against, and allowed me to have some time just looking over parts to cobble together a fix. Was absolutely amazing. Needless to say, I've come back over and over again. I started as putting together a couple of older vehicles just to have something to bash. To being on a path of a regular on the track, and being at racing event.

What a great way to be reignited back into the hobby. And have access to an indoor track that is constantly changing.

You'll find the staff extremely knowledgeable from small drones, up to 1/5 scale nitro powered, and Crawlers. Seriously consider a visit.
