Nordstrom, Palo Alto CA

I used to shop at this store. However, this store now is so out dated looks like a store in 90s. I would prefer to go to the valley fair location which is bigger, newer which also carry more designer brands.

Situated in Stanford University Campus near Stanford Shopping Mall. Three floors Shopping Center for cosmetics, bags, ladies section, kids section and one restaurant on 3rd floor. Lots of collections are there but seems very expensive.

This review is based of my experience while visiting Nordstrom in Palo Alto California with my family. First, I noticed that Nordstrom is not part of the main mall, reason why I mention this is: I wanted to go there to look for shoes for my kids, the signs in the main mall point to Nordstrom but none of those signs really shows that the store is actually across the Main Street. We walked and we gave up. After leaving the mall we saw it across but at that point we were tired and just went home. I did return to the store a week later. The first thing I notice is, it is not as crowed as other big stores, all the clothes are well situated and does not look messy. The place is clean and well maintained. I was looking for a dress for my little one, one thing that got my attention is while I was looking for a dress, I never got offered help to find it. There was a lady more interested on what my kids where doing that trying to help me. At the end, I could not find a dress. I am sure they are very helpful maybe I was in a odd day. To make things short, the place is clean, they have a restaurant on the top floor, no mess in the section. I think is they improve the attentiveness to customers, they would be amazing! Our experience was so unpleasnat that we chose to leave and eat elsewhere. Unpleasant staff, and a pretty nasty manager. We watched him ask an old lady with a service dog move to another table because he claimed the passage - which BTW was about 6 ft wide in an empty restaurant - needed to be kept clear for wheelchair acess. Other than us, the restaurant was empty! He was unpleasant and aggressive. The guy was a d**k. Really put us off going there anymore.

I asked her for the manager but she said she was gone. She said her name was Emily so please let her know my daughter Miriam and I are thankful for her kindness and patient!

Nordstrom is so used to have petty customers but still provide better customer service and return policy at least to me they do. I was and am a loyal customer for this particular one for decades and yet they did a incredible job protecting me when I was in the changing rooms. Their return policy hasn't changed much and I have been able to exchange when asked politely. There isn't anything I could change for days when they are the best store around, especially when it came to returns! I love this place!

Great customer service from Lourdes! My goal was to quickly find running shoes on a busy Sunday afternoon and luckily Lourdes was there to help me! She was quick and extremely helpful! Makes me want to shop in person instead of online.

I love Wen Wen from the jewelry department!:) I’ve had mixed experiences with some of the employees in the cosmetics section. Sometimes I find it is hard to get honest recommendations, since they are given extra commission for selling makeup from their own counter. Everyone is always helpful though. Victoria from the Chanel makeup counter is awesome!

The men's department absolutely helped suit a friend of mine for his upcoming wedding (he's going to as a guest).
All accessories. Belt shoes Sox, t-shirts
Etc.finished up fitting him for the entire trip.
The expedited it over to their personal tailor shop and he was done in 45 minutes worth of shopping then they sent him a text to let him know all of his items were ready for pickup at the store.
Shopping time 45-minutes for all of his needs!
Expedited Taylor time -3 hours!

Nick Jeong, a shoe salesman, helped me find the funkiest pair of Hunter boots. After I put them on, I immediately started dancing. Oh, how I danced! I started doing the whip, the Irish jig, and the Renegade. Nick even joined me during work! Thank you Nordstrom and Nick for helping me find my jig!

A little dated but still has all of the elements you want in their department store chain. Typically visit to pick up packages located on the third floor. E Bar is just outside if you need some coffee and close enough to walk over while waiting for EV charging.

It was a Nordtrom and just like many others. Entry of options, though we had to hunt around to find what we were looking for. The person who che ked us out was super friendly.

Best quality clothes, purses, wraps and scarves e.t. C. I wandered the store and wanted one of everything!

Great staff, but not very inclusive sizing options. If you're a women's size 12 and below, you shouldn't have any issues finding your size while shopping in-person.
