Restaurant Noriega's reviews
15 We went on aThurs.night. Garlic fried chicken & spare ribs were on the menu for that night. There were 5 in our party & we paid $46.00 /each. Waitress was friendly & helpful. The bread was stale & she replaced it with fresh. Soup tasted left over, beans were ok, cottage cheese & blue cheese was fine. Chicken was tender however bland, the spare ribs were the same.
The fries were overcooked, salad was fine, spaghetti was fine.the corn was untouched. The best thing of our entire meal was the ice cream. We will not be back.
Service is the ONLY positive I can say about this place. Food was either overly bland or WAY too garlicky. Restaurant was freezing. Way overpriced for what they offered. Cherry on top was the horribly loud terrible noise of karaoke that blasted the entire restaurant. Will not be a returning customer. Just wish that sweet waitress could work at a better establishment. She's the reason they got 2 stars from me.
A great meal. There were only 2 servers and they were working their tails off. We had to wait for a few things but it was worth the wait.
Dinner was delicious! Had a large setup with enough food for four people! Chicken was marinated and flavorful! Pickled tongues were great!
My friend's and I had lunch today. Ida and Kenny were awesome. Food was great. Family style was so friendly and quaint. We will make it a regular stop.
Absolutely the best basque experience I've had a very long time. Our server Nicole was one of the best servers I've ever had in my life. She was very attentive, make sure our glasses were always full. The food was second to none. 1st class all the way
Friday Nights are where it's at! Love the environment, good service! Great music, drinks are fire, I definitely look forward to Friday nights.
Everything was outstanding. Came on a Tuesday and the main dishes were chicken cacciatore and ribeye steaks. Service was on point and the food even better. Drinks were great and the house wine included with dinner was good. Dj was playing in the bar. Good vibes. On a Tuesday!
Best garlic fried chicken in town. The cabbage soup is always amazing especially with their beans and salsa. I love the fries at the end of the meal (dessert!). I also appreciate the dinner time of 6pm which lets my food settle before I sleep. I have never had a bad meal here and the servers are always friendly. One of my favorite places in town hands down.
Update your hours please. You were closed when your hours & website said you were open. Would’ve loved to try your food.
I finally went to the new Noriga’s last night. I’ll be honest, some of the past reviews concerned me. However, I was thrilled with the experience and the food. I called and made reservations earlier in the day and they said be there by six. I specifically wanted to eat at Noriega’s because I love the family style dining. There’s no other basque restaurants around that has the family seating.
I loved walking in and the elegant waiting area. In case you’re confused when you enter, you can order a drink and wait until the doors are opened and you are sat. You do not get a menu and that is what family style serving and seating is. It’s a great experience if you’re open to it.
The foot was excellent and I love, love, love the spaghetti. I want one of the whole serving dishes to myself. I also really enjoyed the clam chowder and the lamb they were serving on Friday. We had great conversations with our neighbors, who were strangers prior to sitting down. We even exchanged contact information. At the end we even got a box to take food home.
I highly recommend it and it’s best for people who are open to chatting with friendly strangers as you’re breaking bread.
Had lunch here and I was pleasantly surprised at how hospitable and amazing the food was! I will definitely be a returning customer when I get my basque craving!
Love dinner. But the waitresses are lazy. Should get new staff i swear i saw someone from the kitchen come out and do her job. And not to mention i heard an older man tell a cook i think to wear a mask but i noticed he nor anyone else working with customers weren't wearing a mask. So far only good thing about this place is ricky and charlie the food os great. VERY POOR FRONT SERVICE. Again waitresses are very lazy ur better off asking a cook doing their job to get any thing. Honestly the cooks should be paid more for doing the waitresses jobs.
Waitresses are very lazy. Horrible service. The cooks did more. Honestly. Food is not worth the service.
Spare ribs and garlic chicken with the set up. $40.00 per person was definitely worth it. Can't wait to try other meals. Staff was quick and courteous. Reminded me of the original location.
