NORMS Restaurant, Anaheim CA

I used to like this Norms. But they behaved like JERKS towards a gentleman that was not wearing a mask. They don't have signs mandating masks and Orange County does not have a mask mandate. I don't care either way about mask wearing but I did not like them being jerks towards this gentleman. I will not return to this norms again until they respect peoples right to make their own decisions. If they want to have a mandate they could always move to Los Angeles county.

Had to give it a 1 star- they don’t deserve any stars! Went in for my meal and ordered 2 pumpkin pies. They gave me an apple pie, which I didn’t ask for. And the person cutting the pie, destroyed the one they cut and gave it to me! I asked to exchange it for a better slice and to exchange the apple for a pumpkin pie and she said she didn’t know how to cut a pie. So I guess the answer was a ‘No’ exchange on the pie. I asked for a refund and they said I couldn’t have one because I paid with my card and the manager was on break. I waited long enough and the manager never came back from break. I continued to ask for a cash refund and she told me that I couldn’t have a cash refund because the manager who gives cash refunds would be in tomorrow! Doesn’t make any sense! Never go here, the staff is incompetent & they STOLE my money-refusing to give me a refund!
That’s called bad customer service! It clearly shows if the staff gets away with this kind of bad customer service; it’s a reflection of their managers bad management skills.

I come here often very nice friendly staff. There very fast in serving an taking. They also accommodate you as soon as they see you the longest wait approximately 2 minutes to 3 they go above and beyond exceeding expectations. Love this place.

Not worth it, eating at Norms right now right now because they're requiring masks-they're acting as if we're in the Pre-covid moment-no vaccines/treatments available when dining inside-go someplace else until Norms removes the masks requirement.

The food wasn’t good and the service wasn’t pleasant. They make us wait an hour to be served from the time we sat down. Then we asked for our check to be split and they refused to do it.

I was there on Saturday at 2: 36 11: 27/2021 my server anik he took forever to bring our meals we had the fish potato it was so dry you couldn't even chew the potatoes I told and I was I told them I was dry and they didn't care so I didn't tip him he still followed me and apologize it's on him I still turned around and I gave him a tip but the service was horrendous the meal was so dry even the cashier Stephanie I told her about the potatoes you couldn't even chew them bad experience I'm sorry the service is gone

Great customer service. Fresh and hot food.
My husband loved the wheat bread [betterthan Denny's, he said]
Coffee needs to be stronger (my preference).

Overall, we enjoyed the food and service.

We tried the "Chile Verde Plate" and "Taco Plate". So delicious!

Always love eating at Norms restaurants. Wish they had more locations. Like in San Diego, we have to drive almost 2 hours to get to one. So when we're close to one we definitely stop. This location made me feel like we were on a time limit and they weren't that busy. Everything winded up at the table at once. Soups, salads then within 10 minutes the food. Half way done with our drinks and we were brought more. We were offered the check and boxes as they set the drinks on the table. The food was delicious, as usual but we felt very rushed. Didn't even have time to snap a picture for this review.

The food was good, prices were reasonable, the staff were pleasant, and the environment felt safe.

They told us the bar is closed and will not be seating anyone, than a 20 minutes later this family walks in and they give them the bar while we have tow wait another 10 minutes more to get seated. Beyond irritating.

Terrible service, got ignored by staff when I asked about the status of my sister's salad and soup.and even after almost 40 mims we didn't get either her salad nor refills

We are from Utah but any time we come to California we like to eat at Norms. This is the 4th different location we have been to and they have all been great.

Good food. Our server was really nice but the girl up front in the pink poodle jacket had a bad attitude problem. Very busy

The waitress was really nice, attentive, and smiled underneath her mask when she spoke to me. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. I changed out the sausage for a couple extra slices of bacon and got charged for it. But that was okay with me.
