I was looking to upgrade a 2017 Camry SE with very high miles. I see the slick ads for Carvana. So i searches their inventory. Select a car and get a quote. They offered $7200 on my car that was worth between $9-10k for trade per KBB. They wanted 35% larger down and and $80 more month for a vehicle that was $5k less. Not to mention 5% more on the apr. When i said they undervalued my trade, I was told that the offer we don’t negotiate. I feel all the fancy ads are to distract you from them stealing your money. Don’t trust them.

I am extremely thankful I decided to check with a couple of local dealers. I went to North Bakersfield Toyota’s website. Within 15 minutes, I received a text from Issa Hawatmeh. He helped me determine what I was looking for and have me a list that I narrowed to 3 cars. I went in a bit later. Unfortunately, Issa had left for the day. His partner Deon Greenlee helped me. He was patient and showed me the three cars and took two for test drives. I told Deon the one I preferred was a few grand out of my price range. I asked if we could try the numbers, knowing i would probably have to go with my second choice for budget reasons. Deon and his Sales Manager, Bam Salam went to work. They got my top choice to fit my budget and paid off the Camry that was $2700 upside down. They were professional and friendly. They listened to my needs and wants and found solutions for me. Thank you Bam, Deon and Issa. You’ve earned my business moving forward.

Amir and Sam were great! Amir was accommodating and responded really fast to any questions, he went above and beyond to get the car I wanted. When Sam delivered the car to me he made the paper work painless, quick and thorough. He also explained all the features and set up the Toyota app for me. Great crew at this Bakersfield dealership. Kyle Wolf was excellent, super nice and not pushy. Very helpful and easy to work with. Helped me find my perfect vehicle. Made buying a car super easy. Would definitely buy a vehicle with North Bakersfield Toyota again. Other dealerships customer service sucks compared to them.
