My 14 yr old son and I arranged for a private surf lesson. Noah had everything we needed, was on time and easy to locate. His enthusiasm for surfing was high and we both were able to stand up and ride some waves by the end of the lesson. Thanks!

Great experience! I had Duran as my instructor and this was my first time surfing. He was super helpful and gave a lot of great pointers that made the overall experience super fun! I was able to catch a a lot of good waves and had an awesome time! Highly recommend!

Duran has been an incredible surf coach for my son! He knows how to keep it fun in the water for the groms, while also teaching technique and perseverance at the same time.

Our instructor Noah was amazing, packed a ton of instruction and tips into our 90m lesson and he was super nice. He was way better than a Huntington Beach highly regarded instructor we had. Lessons were right out front of our hotel (Mission Pacific) and the board and wetsuit were great. Great communication. Perfect addition to our Oceanside getaway! Highly recommend!

I was visiting O'side from Toronto and wanted to do a surfing lesson last minute. A friend who went with NCSA called Tyler and he made it happen in the same day when others weren't able to. Noah, my instructor was extremely passionate and patient. From start to finish, he made sure I understood the instructions, checked for safety, and exercised patience throughout which is key when teaching/instructing. He had to go to a class but stayed to make sure I ended on a high note.which I was able to do. It was truly an INCREDIBLE experience! Thank you Noah and Tyler for helping me achieve a top 3 bucket list item!

Tyler was an awesome surf instructor. As a first timer, he helped me learn the basics, feel comfortable in the water, and have fun. I definitely would recommend taking a class with him.

Had a great time with JB! He has a large emphasis on technique that I appreciated, and helped me catch a bunch of green waves. With his help I progressed in my surfing ability and built confidence. He was professional, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic.

Perfect experience! Duane was kind, patient and fun! My first timers all were surfing and when one was struggling to stay on the board Duane worked with her until she got it. Great photos and fun! Highly recommend.

My six year old had the best experience with her first lesson with North County Surf Academy. We saw confidence in the waves immediately after and even more the following days. I don’t think we could have picked a better surf instructor for my daughter! They kept it simple and easy enough that she was riding within minutes of the lesson starting. JB was awesome especially with younger kids and fist timers. Rough waters and pulled off miracles. Had kids surfing in initial lesson. Highly recommend their lessons.
