Terrible place, do not come here. It's so bad, like really really bad. As for the restrooms, dont look in the hole.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this campground. So peaceful and clean. The bathrooms are potable and a little stinky outside but not once you’re in the building. There’s a dope swimming hole about a 10 minute walk away as well as some beautiful spots down the river if you want a place to chill away from others. Will definitely be back.

Clean, spacious, right by the North Fork of the American River. The water is clean and a babbling brook at this juncture

Beautiful campground! We just spent the weekend there. Very quiet and peaceful. Clean. The drive is a little bumpy and the road narrow in some spots but it is paved the whole way, with some spots freshly paved, so it made it a fairly easy drive! Can't wait to go again!

Love this place. It's so quiet and such a great adventure for little ones to have. My 5 year old and I have been coming here for years now. It's so wonderful.

Awesome place. We had to hike down to the waterfall between camp site 8,9, and 10. There is a small path to follow. Wasn't aware it would be a little hard for my 4 yr old. And couldn't find a safe place to enter the pool at bottom of waterfall. But it was VERY BEAUTIFUL!

Love this place. There is 1 fresh water spigot it camp. No dump station (for RVers). 2 vaulted bathrooms. It's a small campground, which is a plus. Oh, and the waterfalls are only a 5 minute walk. Great pools for swimming. Beautiful waterfalls, and the big one is a small rock climb to get to. I'll be going back.

Beautiful area. You can hike the trails, sit by the river, go fishing, swimming, go to the top for a gorgeous sunset view, stay for a while camping. Very relaxing and serene area to be. I highly recommend checking out this area when you want to unplug for a while.

Very lovely drive and cascades. Beautiful swimming hole with about 1/2 Mile walk. Very rocky, so be careful.

Beautiful trails and campground. Quite a number of spots for camping. Gorgeous waterfall that is a short hike. Many people swim here in the river. It's quieter if you walk farther down the river

Lovely campground next to a stream. We only came for a short day visit to hike down to the "falls/diving" spot and though the water was freezing, it was still beautiful. No camp fires allowed at this time.

I will comment on how easy it is to get to this campsite only. The campsite is 6 miles into the woods once the divided road ends. Not recommended for any size RV. The first 2.5 miles is a narrow, winding paved road with some erosion. The next 3.5 miles are treacherous with huge potholes, a lot of road erosion, narrower road and steep drop offs. I have a Jeep and it took me 20 minutes to drive 6 miles in daylight to the campsite. Once there it's great.

Pay attention to maps! Don't go the unpaved route when you exit the freeway (and turn left like Google directs). Google takes you through a wildly unpaved rocky path and if we weren't driving a Jeep, we would have been stuck. The correct route is to the right after you exit the freeway and it's got several potholes that are easy to handle. The campsite itself is great, spacious, shaded. The waterfall is fun to hangout at. The area is a nice secluded spot to camp for a weekend.
