Great care! Professional atmosphere! Quality customer service! The staff here are super patient, and my doctor took the time to explain everything to me and involved my input in my care.

Dr. Brookshier came highly recommended by a friend, so I went to see him after living with chronic plantar fasciitis in my left foot for over a year. I had been doing everything I was supposed to do (stopped walking for exercise, wearing a splint at night, frozen water bottle, compression socks, heel cups, etc.), but by the time I saw Dr. Brookshier for the first time he explained that although I was doing the right things, my plantar fasciitis was chronic and there was nothing I could do, myself, to make it better. He said I had three options: surgery, a stem cell injection or a PRP injection. His opinion was that the stem cell injection would have the highest probability of success, so a couple of weeks later I went into his office for the injection. I didn’t have to wait months for an appointment, only a couple of weeks, which was awesome. I felt no relief after my first visit with him a month later, but he had explained it could take a few months for the injection to fully take effect. I was a little frustrated, but he was so encouraging and supportive that I left his office feeling way more hopeful than I had been. After my next visit with him, a month later, I still felt very little relief and was wondering whether or not the injection was going to work at all. I was getting frustrated and on the verge of pursuing the surgery route, but he was so determined to help me, so insistent on doing everything he could to provide me with some relief and encouraged me to be patient, saying, “Surgery, no way, we’re going to get you better! ”. Well, about a week after that last visit (just over two months since the injection), I woke up feeling some relief in my foot for the first time in close to a year and a half! I was so excited to tell Dr. Brookshier during my next visit, and when I did, he said that hearing that made his day. Almost three months after the injection, my foot is getting better every day, and it’s the best feeling ever. I can’t thank Dr. Brookshier enough for his unwavering support and encouragement, his attentiveness during each of my visits, and his unwillingness to give up on me or my stubborn left foot!

Amazing podiatrist! Dr. Brookshire and his entire team are great! Front desk staff and medical technicians are super friendly and welcoming, and go above and beyond to ensure everything is done with the highest degree of patient satisfaction. The team is awesome! Having undergone six surgeries previously, I was quite used to the process, or so I thought. From initial visits with Dr. Brookshire exploring less invasive treatment options starting about a year ago, through the ultimate decision to perform surgery, every aspect of my 7th and most recent surgery with Dr. Brookshire was simply outstanding. This iteration (the only one performed by him) was by far the best surgery experience I’ve ever had. He is extremely knowledgeable, highly qualified, very very patient, kind, and super accommodating. All around a tremendous doctor who has earned my complete trust and utmost respect. I don’t know how I stumbled upon his practice, but I’m extremely happy and very lucky that I did!

I had a couple of surgeries (ingrown toenails) at different podiatrists while traveling - dr brookshiere took me for an emergency when my toe got infected.

Also he gave me his cell phone number so I could text him for emergencies/questions. Thank you for being so patient and friendly and helping my with my toe! Also thank you for the long doctors letters, so I will be able to get my money back from my insurance.

When ever you are in Germany, visit me and make sure I have finally healthy feet:)

Dr. Brookshier at North Park Podiatry has been so wonderful and informative with helping me with an emergency toe issue right after I moved to SD!

I'm hard on my feet and extremely active, yet, up until now, I haven't been the best at caring for my feet. So you can imagine my nerves when I had some issues come up, was new to San Diego, and scared on what to do next!

I called Dr. Brookshier's office and the staff was incredibly supportive and helpful and were able to kindly fit me in. Most importantly, Dr. Brookshier made sure I was comfortable, informed, and taken care of as he looked into the issue.

We are still in the process of working together, and I know my feet are in great hands. I appreciate how easy it is to connect with him, and his calm demeanor certainly helps ease my anxiety as we look into biopsies together.

I might move up to North County, and I know I will continue to see Dr. B no matter how long the drive is. Thank you to Dr. B and the entire North Park Podiatry team!

Dr. Brookshier is the best in the biz! Not only extremely smart, but a master of his craft with a wonderful beside manner. I have had lots of issues with my toes in the past, which led to very painful podiatry visits with other doctors, but Dr. B was so gentle administering lidocaine that it was a completely different experience. I can’t recommend him enough! Also shoutout to his nice staff!
