North Redding Valero reviews
7This place is clean and the people are nice! The location is accessible. They have the best frazzle slushy drink selection
This place is something to behold. I come here everyday as a matter of convenience. I have been stopping here every morning for over a year. Out of the 260 times I've been here in the last year I have experienced customer service maybe 5 times. Most of the time the attendant can't even look at the customer, let alone greet them, tell them their total, thank them for their business, etc. It's gotten to the point now where it's a game to see how bad it can be. Nobody at this location takes this seriously. Customers seem to be an inconvenience to them. Yesterday I bought more than usual and asked for a bag, which I had to interrupt the employees conversation so that I could get what I needed before our transaction concluded. The cashier just pulled a bag out and threw it on the counter and expected me to bag my own items. This is a pretty good example of what you'll get at this location. Heaven forbid you deal with one of the younger guys, they're the worst ones. The owner can be nice, but she seems to also be bothered by having work to do. Not impressed.

Today I decided to give this station another chance. I dropped in just before 8AM to pick up a snack for lunch. I checked their sandwiches out because it sounded appetizing. Until I saw the date in which they were made. These sandwiches were all over a week old. I decided to get something else. Upon getting to the checkout line I immediately noticed that the worker was wearing a VERY inappropriate T-shirt. "If my opinion offends you, you should hear what I keep to myself". This is not an appropriate shirt for a public-facing position. It seems to me that there are no customer service standards at this location. I would rather not eat than deal with any of these people again. If you dare to shop here, check the dates on everything. I've bought expired soda, sandwiches, and candy. They do not check dates.
The price of gas is misleading. Until you start pumping you are not notified that it is $0.10 a gal more if use a cart rather than cash. There may have been a notification of this, but it was not obvious to me.
OMG so this morning I believe it was just after 8a the guy inside this Valero Gas Station has the worst to little or no customer service I said hello to him once he got to the counter and thanked him after I paid for gas and not a single word from him whatsoever let alone a slight smile VERY RUDE
I love this Gas station and everything but not him I hope to not see him again here
Everything is at a huge markup. Fuel is especially expensive here. At $0.96 more than a station just a few miles away (Maverick). They have good breakfast food and the ham pockets they make are tasty but for 5$ I could do a lot better somewhere else.
Everything you'd expect in a gas station+ load's more and the staff is outstandingly helpful.
Easily accessible location. Hooks a lot of commercial traffic, so can be a pain to get a pump in the mornings. Has good food in the hot case and a nice variety of items in the store. Haven't tried their BBQ on Fridays, but by the smell of it, it's fantastic.
