North Upland Terrace Apartments

Photos are from our move-in date. This property has the most incompetent management I have ever had to deal with. Our manager left without a replacement and they started running their office with workers covering for the manager who do not know company policy. Phone is the only mode of contact since the old manager left and they hardly ever answer it. It took 4 calls to get in contact with the new manager once one was appointed before we got through regarding a serious issue. We were charged fees for following the cover worker's instructions for moving out because they gave us false information. The apartments are poorly maintained and the paint jobs are awful. Everything we owned stuck to the cabinets and the cabinets would stick shut from excess paint. The appliances broke often and maintenance only performs quick fixes that don't truly fix the unit. Our dishwasher flooded constantly. Washing machines in the Laundromat were frequently out of order. Neighbors are loud all night every night and management does nothing but send warning emails to the ENTIRE complex. If one person breaks the rules you will all hear about it rather than them addressing one person. We were harassed by neighbors and attacked by their dogs and management did nothing even with police reports. The management company will charge you for new carpets when you move out and are not honest about the age of the carpets. Do not rent here. If you do, be sure to get EVERYTHING in writing. Lewis MC is a dishonest company that will try to charge you extra fees when you move out.
