One of the best audio shops anywhere, hands down. I had an awesome time looking at truly amazing and eclectic gear and getting good advice. You can't find this kind of selection or service just anywhere. Chris really knows his stuff and takes the time to explain things well and give advice on particular gear pairings, with knowledge and experience to back it up. Sampling different setups was a joy and I appreciated getting honest advice within my budget!

Drove 5 hours from Southern Oregon to visit North Coast Audio in Eureka when I was looking to upgrade my speakers, because they had the largest selection of stereo equipment to choose from. Chris, the owner, had all of the speakers I wanted to audition and patiently played each pair with music I normally listen to. I finally listened to a pair of Magnepan speakers that totally blew me away and purchased. Chris went above and beyond. Will shop there again!

Chris is phenomenal! His equipment is top quality, and his knowledge is exceptional. We’ve bought 3 devices from him over the years and with each purchase, he teaches us more about ALL of our products, wired as well as wireless. He installed each of our purchases. He is a teacher, and never tried to sell us something unless it’s what we were asking for. We won’t ever buy audio or visual equipment from anyone else.

Chris the owner, has a vast knowledge of Stereo / Home Theater Equipment. From mild to wild, an he's a very trust worthy man. He won't sell you something just for the sale or to make money. He really cares. I definitely will not go anywhere else.

I needed a new speaker driver for my Dali Euphonia MS5 and Chris Larsen was able to assist me in having one ordered. Northcoast Audio was the only official Dali dealer in the USA that I was able to locate that promptly assisted me in the need for a single driver. Chris has been very prompt and thorough in following up on the initial purchase and I would certainly reach out to him for any other audio needs I might have in the future.

I drove 3 1/2 hours to check out 4 different sets of speakers that were in stock (a much better selection than anyone else within 4 hours of me). The owner (Chris) was extremely helpful and knowledgable. He helped point me in the right direction based on my feedback without trying to make a decision for me. I got an amazing set of speakers at a great price! The whole experience was great and I will definitely be adding more pieces in the very near future to round out my new home audio system. I drove up yesterday from Oakland to Eureka to hear a specific set of speakers that they had on display. Couldn’t find those speakers locally in my area. The owner, Chris, was extremely helpful, very knowledgeable, and very patient. He demonstrated the speakers I was interested in but also showed me two other ones to consider. He was very down to earth, with no BS. I ended up buying the speakers and also a turntable. I highly recommend working with him. No high-pressure sales or high-end audio snobbery. He carries a lot of very good quality lines. It was well worth the trip up north to Eureka.
