Supermarket Northgate Market reviews
19So, this memorial day, i went to this place to buy some groceries to celebrate the memorial day, so i ended up buying a cake for my wife since her birthday is today. The cake was so old, that it didnt even have taste. Cake was stiff. Torally a disaster. Thank u northgate for screwed my celebration. Even the arroz con leche taste so nasty. Never will buy from this place again.
Love the place, but won't be going there until pandemic is over. Too much "hands on" going on. But I'll be back
Very organized. There's an employee at the door, he ask me if i was going to buy meat? I said yes give me a number. And straight to the meat deparment. They disinfect the baskets and carts at the door. When you are ready to pay, another employee directed me to a cashier. Very good job on keeping customers safe. Great job Northgate.
Very poor service I use to work there and the place is filthy don’t ever shop there, there a old man name Franco and he always bosses everyone very rule too
I like to go there I can find things I need and can I say is a in and out and if you want to buy food made over here is delicious
Every time I visit the store I find everything plus more. The staff is always helpful. No problem finding parking. And the take out food is delicious.
Ok lets get it correct it's for authentic Hispanic cooking and they cater that very well just one thing bagging is bad by employees mixing raw meats with whatever
I'm mad cuz they didn't have any tamales the day I went and I had been fantasizing about them all day!
Okay so if you don't feel like cooking pump over to Northgate in Chula Vista because they have so much food hot and ready to go that you just need to get it weighed and you're on your way. There is carnitas, chiles, rellenos, tamales, salsa, guacamole, meat dishes, aguas frescas.and a full Bakery.
Meet, sea food, Mexican sweet bread, ceviche, cakes, and tamales everything cooked by them is good and not expensive but, all food that comes in a can and other things are expensive
Very clean store! Good specials, nice environment.
Store selection is big (even found thrifty brand ice cream wich I didn't know still exists) plan on returning to explore more.
Good service, I like that they think about their customers and sometimes have free things if you buy items they list.
I really enjoy coming here. The hot food they have is perfect for lunch and the aguas frescas are really good. Really recommend this place.
I love this supermarket. Their produce section is well maintained. Priced reasonable and fresh. Meat is fresh too and has good prices. Although they have some organic brand food, I wish the selection was better. Eureka brand bread would be good. I hate going to Walmart to get it. Need more food items with no soy, no peanuts or seeds. Then it would be perfect
It was pleasant to see that it wasn't a madhouse in there. The produce was fresh and reasonably priced.
There is always plenty of parking and cashiers open except for today. Overall it's a good store.
Poor customer service and too expensive. Most of employees don't speak English well. They think everybody speaks Spanish. No diversity in this store. All employees are Latinos or Mexicans. They don't hire other races. Come on! We live in the United States of America, not Mexico!
Stopped by to get a deal on their powerade sale but was told the merchandise was pulled back to make room for wine yet the isle was completely empty, won't be coming back here anymore
