As this museum was wonderful and impressive- we wish we could have enjoyed it. We purchased tickets and ventured off to enjoy the extravagant exhibits, however, shortly after arrival, a security guard approached us about my mother's portable oxygen she carries due to her health and disability. They insisted that she could not wear it per policy. We were baffled as we had not come across such insensitivity before. We tried to explain the situation and the need for this oxygen equipment, but those concerns fell on deaf ears. This is a small bag strapped across the shoulder to carry the oxygen apparatus. It is not bulky or cumbersome. The supervisor of the security team took over and insisted that she could not wear it as designed and suggested to wear it in a way that would restrict her breathing more (on the front of her chest). We were appalled and disgusted at the harassment. There was no flexibility- it was either figure out another way to wear it or you cant enjoy the exhibits. So, we were forced to leave. I'm sure the exhibits were wonderful- would have loved to see them.it was unacceptable how insensitive this team was to someone with medical needs.

Nice medium-size museum in a very nice city of Pasadena. Free parking and free entrance for students with ID. Came here several times as it very easy to access for students and still have a good amount of artworks to see.

There are works from famous artist like Van Gogh, Picasso, and many more for you to see.

Downtown Pasadena is not too far away so you can scroll around when you are in the city as well.

An excellent museum in Pasadena. Great place to spend some time meditating, wandering about, and getting lost in your own thoughts. I love spending rainy days here. Become a member. Great lectures and movies. Easy parking. Another great thing in Pasadena.

Enjoyed spending few hours in galleries and a very nice light lunch in the Cafe which is outside by a lovely pond. Delightful day. Due to holiday, they were out of the free guide/map in English.

Don't miss the Zoraba still life. Or the Van Gogh mulberry tree. Top tier art werx. You can skip the cafe, everything was watered down, I bet even the paninis are soggy. But that's probably a lie, because I didn't try one. Good luck with the appreciating of aesthetics, big ups P-town.

Excellent museum. Not that big art museum but wonderful collections. Highly Recommended for everyone. Admission is $15 and money worth.

Visited this amazing museum 1 year ago. I always have fond memories of this place and it's stunning beyond words. It might seem small from the outside, but it's anything but! Plus having a fresh iced coffee after walking around and look at art, at the little drink stand is seriously the means for a perfect afternoon.

You are greeted by a lawn of Rodin sculptures. Need I say more? Ok, there are several Renoir paintings. Enough said.

It takes about a good 3 hours to go through the whole museum. The artwork that is displayed is truly one of a kind. They have have an impressive collection of picasso and van Gough paintings. My favorite thing in this museum are the outside events they hold in the garden area. They will have live jazz playing sometimes or activities for adults and children. It's a beautiful place overall.

I really like the environment and the placement of the art and sculptures were great. I also loved the museum shop as well! I left with a lot of stuff and happy overall!

This small but jam-packed museum is a true gem! From the many Rodin sculptures at the entrance, the incredible garden with the (mostly) Henry Moore sculptures, to the amazing number of impressionist paintings and sculptures, the early 14th through 18th century European art, and even the very beginnings of modern art - this place will make the art lover in you swoon. So small, but so amazing. And have a snack or coffee in the lovely outdoor cafe!

I think this is LA’s hidden gem. Huge, diverse range of art, lovely sculpture garden & cafe. None of the Getty/LACMA crowds.
