Something is seriously wrong with the employees at this bike shop. I’ve been getting a weird vibe from the employees every time I walk in the door. My latest visit I walked in to Newberry Park bike shop on Labor Day Intending to buy a CO2 insulator for my dad for his birthday. The gentleman at the counter referred me to an inflator, and I asked him which CO2 cartridge would be appropriate. He referred me to the cartridge, and when I looked at some other cartridges he started to scoff. I asked him if the smaller cartridge really wouldn’t inflate my dad’s 26 inch mountain bike tires as I had some experience with them in the past. At that point he started acting all weird and said very rudely that I didn’t know what I was talking about and that maybe he was wrong but that he didn’t think so and he had way more experience than me. This is my third time encountering such a rude behavior at this location and so I just walked out. I don’t think I’m ever coming here again despite buying a couple bikes here in the past. Will be going to Michaels bicycles in the future where I always feel welcome and they have patience for folks like me that have questions.

Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable with the products. They were able to take care of exactly what I needed for my daughter. They even allowed her to test drive the bicycle before we purchased it. Made sure all our needs were met and that we left the store satisfied with our purchase. They even gave us a free maintenance with the bicycle. Thanks again to the staff for everything.
