I liked this place the vibes were really different. When I saw it at first it was strange for me, the tables too close to each other, the huka smoke all over the tables, but it felt like a traditional cafe in Egypt bazar!
At the weekends they don’t have any reservations and it is very normal to staying in the line foe an hour! This place is so popular for arab people. You can not find parking easily. There is no time limit to stay in your table so people are playing here and for the weekends there is at least $20 minimum order per person! So can’t go here only for huka at the weekends.

We ordered mint and lemon juice drink and it was really good. And kabsa for food it was two huge lamb hangs with rice and spices. It is definitely for two person! Really huge portions. We liked it.

For dessert we ordered kanufe and om alli! They were ok. The Kanafe wasn’t crispy!

Over all if you like the atmosphere, I recommend this place.

I've been to about 6-7 hookah lounges in OC, and Nubia seems to be the favorite go-to.
Food is good, hookah service and coal guys are on point, there's music and over good vibes. Always busy too. Probably for a reason.

If you have a group and want to chill out late night! This is the spot. Great food, hookah flavors are good as well. I enjoyed my Tea. Service is good too. If you visit at late night parking is something challenging.

This is the #1 Hookah bar in California. Quality hookah and food. Plus a great outdoor space to sit with your friends and family to have a great time.
This place is packed every night from 10pm and plenty of people still there until 5am.
I would recommend having someone come early to put you on the waiting list for your party, waits can be anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours depending on peak times.
Nubia Chai (tea) and Knafa are the must-haves every time you visit.

By far, my favorite hookah cafe on the west coast. It’s my go to every time I’m in town. Great service, quality ambiance. They have food, desserts, teas and coffees. Great place to kick it with friends, and make memories. Definitely try their nubia chai and knafa.

Ala’ah has contributed significantly to the hookah culture of not only orange county but all of greater Los Angeles. Doesn’t matter what time of the week you go theres always a crowd.the milk tea is phenomenal, i usually house one in 3 minutes and im forced to order another. My go-to hookah order is orange mint in a pineapple head.

Everytime I go to LA, I always go there as their food is good but their customer service is not always good. May be because they know that people will come here for Hookah anyways.

Me and my friend ordered separate meals. They brought my friends order which was a burger and didnot bring mine for almost another 30 minutes or more and they kept saying your lamb shank is almost done its coming out in any minute.

When I provided feedback that you should bring both orders together so we both get to enjoy and eat together. They did not take my feedback positively and responded back its your fault you should have said that earlier that bring both orders together.

I am not planning on going back their again.

- Their burger was okay and the lamb shank rice were cold. They warmed it up for me but it didnot taste like fresh. Lamb shank was good

I also like their ummm Ali.but dont even order Molten Lava Cake. The picture in the menu is very deceiving.

They overcharged me and I asked for food however they gave me an extra item and charged me for it. Be careful whit the charges.

The Nubia burger is simply the best burger I have had in awhile this burger is so flavorful and mouth watering, who would of thought that a hookah lounge would be the one to serve a delicious and scrumptious burger

Service was great! Good was delicious and the hookah was smooth! Very good atmosphere and it was packed. Only suggestion; it's a middle eastern lounge, to complete the feel add arabic mix music. Hearing others conversations or watching muted TV or people play cards isn't fun. Otherwise love this spot!

Friend of mine recommended this place and it did not disappoint. Great hookah and friendly staff. They really made me feel like I am regular there. Loved the games on many TVs.
Going forward, whenever I am in the area, will visit for sure!

This is the best hookah lounge to go with a big party. Try to show up around or b4 10pm or it might be super packed. This is an authentic hookah bar so it is very traditional. No alchol and no gambling. Just hookahs, great vibes and even better food!

Nice environment, food is ok but is true what they say menu process way different than ticket like %30 more hookah is $12 and they charged $18 plus $2 hose, coffee is $3.50 they charged $5.99

We ordered hookah which was good, but food was not good at all, we ordered platers and i they gave us a single portion which was not even enough for a 12 year kid, when we ordered we ask hostess that this food is enough and he told yes more than enough even though last time when i eat there food was cooked nice and served nicely and even we bring the food home but this time in front of my guest i was so disappointed and even when I complained about the food and told the server he was just going here and there looks like he was not in the mood of work.so disappointed
Will never visit this place again.very poor customer service and they was not happy to admit their mistake. 5: pm was time when we visit

Hookah was good, little slow on service but thats understandable on saturday night. I am sure they were doing the best they can since it was packed.

A very bad management with rude attitude, The prices of the food is not the same on their menu, it is very high even though it is cold and not delicious at all, Also We waited 2 hours outside, my first time and last time in this place.
